The Festival's Closing (3)

Mattius whirled around to face Young Willy. He normally would have been amused at the situation this particular student found himself in except for the fact that he wasn't. He was furious that a knight would go against better judgment and wind up getting themselves hurt, especially when that knight was currently one of his students.

"You!" His eyes narrowed as he practically glared at his student. "I figured Young Sato would do this but I had believed that you would be better, that you would have convinced him not-" his words suddenly died in his throat as he realized that the arrow was still sticking out of Young Willy's shoulder.

His eyes softened, anger faded from his eyes to be replaced with concern. "Let's get that out of you first."

Using his hands, he tore Young Willy's shirt off. He bit the corner of his lower lip when he realized that the arrow had pierced all the way through.
