"How mean," the Headmaster muttered from the other side of the bookshelf.

Dane's eyes narrowed into slits as he heard the man's trying voice. It was annoying that such a suspicious man could have such a smooth and pleasing voice, and it irritated Dane even more.

He marched down the aisle. If that man was here then that meant his time doing research was a bust before it could even begin.

He wasn't sure why, but the Headmaster seemed to love to pester him. The man made it a habit every time he saw Dane.

A small, slender figure appeared at the end of the aisle. Long flame-orange-red hair hung in a loose side ponytail, draping over his white clad shoulder. "You're always in such a rush to leave when you see me," the man mocked pouted, his golden eyes glowing in amusement.

How could Remi ever trust this man? The man was like a giant cat who viewed everyone as innocent prey meant for his amusement.
