An Ominous Feeling (1)

"I'm not liking this lineup."

Demian was looking down at the piece of paper that was in his hands. It listed the groups for the first hunting trip for the second years.

Unlike last year, the second years' hunting trip lasted for a whole week. And tomorrow marked the start of it.

It was nice that they wouldn't have classes or homework for a week. But that only meant that the hunting trip will be excruciating, especially since it will be held farther in the Evershire Forest then what they went the year before. That meant more treacherous grounds and stronger magical beasts. There was even a possibility of running into monsters being that deep in the vast forest.

"It won't be that bad," Remi said, trying to comfort him. The warmth of his body seeping into Demian through the small contact of their shoulders and legs touching. That small contact was more comforting than Remi's words, but Demian would never tell him that because he liked hearing Remi's voice.
