CHAPTER-3

After reaching the destination through a helicopter, he wore the jackets, glove, boots, overalls and cap to protect himself from the extreme cold. Soon he bid goodbye to the people who dropped him here, the looked worried for him but Jihan reassured them as they left.

Sighing Jihan sat down right there and then in the direction facing mount Mahasu and closed his eyes. He felt around for the switch in his head and flipped it, in an instant blood filled his brain, and he tried to materialize the crystal of superpower in his brain. Only then would he be able to use his brain power otherwise in a few uses his brain will explode.

Slowly and calmly he gathered dew of spirituality in the atmosphere in his brain, he felt the dew cleansing his bones and meridians in his body and forming it core in his brain. The process was extremely calming and revitalizing for him. Jihan felt himself back in the murky darkness of before but it felt as if small rays of lights were cleansing it all away.

Suddenly huge spirituality poured into him making him gasp and in an instant he completed the crystallization, due to the huge amount of poured spirituality suddenly the second crystallization in his throat was also complete it caused him immense pain. Jihan felt that if he resisted this spiritual ocean pouring on him, in an instant his ego will be carried away from his body, so even though it was fast and it hurt he tried his best to let the ocean flow naturally in his meridians just like the water of lake in ridges and gorges.

He ended up completing the third crystallization in his stomach and the final one in his abdomen. His body got filled with immense power. Jihan let the spiritual ocean run wild in his meridians and let it revolve around the four crystals making them into a perfect shape of balls of crystals. The chakras in his body were already complete.

He felt that the spiritual ocean will keep running like water and stop but something completely unexpected happened. His body was forced into metamorphosis, it was as if the spiritual ocean has it own ego and it despised the fact that the human was acting as a vessel for it thus it forced his body to change completely so that it could store more of the spiritual power inside it.

'Impossible'

Jihan knew it was practically impossible for more spirituality to exist within him he had already formed the peak of four chakras, anymore would destroy his body to pieces. Jihan but slowly felt himself loosing his sanity when pain worse than before attacked him. He bones were being broken and turned into paste like clay, he felt his blood burning, his consciousness leaving his body but he stubbornly grabbed on to it.

Finally he felt the blood which had burned finally returning to him in a much purer form. He felt his bone marrow was replaced. The remaining impurities left from his eyes, nose and mouth and just like that the spiritual energy in the air calmed down.

Jihan opened his eyes and was surprised to see the coal black like tar substance around him mixed with blood.

"...."

He came just to get the crystal in his mind to get his mind functioning back, but ended up completing the chakra cycle and getting a full body reformation.

Jihan sighed and decided that what's done is done. He felt tired and dirty. He abandoned his dirty clothes and with the help of his body's spirituality he kept himself warm as he carried his bag and towards the Mansarovar lake. He bowed to the two ducks of miracle he saw there who observed him, maybe because of the huge spirituality inside him they accepted him and swam around Jihan as he washed himself in the lake.

This was a special lake encountered by the Seo Jinha during the zombie apocalypse that spread in the east lands. This special lake was undamaged by the undead poison. It was a miracle lake that replenished and cleansed itself due to the huge spirituality it contains and this lake also helped in fighting virus, but one day it lost its brilliance and turned into an ordinary lake, leaving people with no choice but to abandon the east after the birth of zombie king.

But Jihan knew the truth of it all, the moment he saw the ducks. The spirituality in this lake was actually not innate to the lake but was provided by the two divine miracle ducks. Someone must have killed them for a task assigned to them to gain rewards.

Jihan had long deduced the fact that these tasks in itself were a sweet trap.

But of course he was not going to prevent any of it. He had no intention of doing so.

He cleansed himself calmly but felt one of the ducks pinching his sides, he flinched but obediently turned towards him. The duck silently stared at him with it dark beady eyes then flapped its wings. Jihan didn't know how but he could understand it clearly surprisingly.

He stretched his hand and spread them in front of it politely in a beggars gesture.

The duck swiped his wing on his hand and it was filled some shimmering blue liquid. Jihan flinched.

"...."

He had a bad intuition about this.

The duck instructed him to drink it. Jihan drank it calmly. Although it tasted like water, it surprisingly felt soothing and calming, It felt as if all the remaining damages in his body caused by the ocean of spirituality has been healed, But then he felt the weird tattoo in his diaphragm flare and turn into a deep red color.

"...."

He suddenly had a super bad feeling about it.

Probably it was that the ducks didn't notice the tattoo before they immediately turned ecstatic after seeing it and turned upside down in the water then came back and flapped their wings towards each other.

"...."

Jihan felt like he should calm them down but suddenly one of the ducks, the female one came towards him shyly and asked of him to spread his hands.

"....."

'He really didn't want to, so annoying'

He reluctantly spread his hands and this time the duck swiped her wing on his hand and what he found was actually two rings he was very familiar with.

"...."

What is the SS class olive branch rings doing in his hands right now??

This ring was worn by the male and female lead throughout the story, Although it was an SS class ring but it had no other feature than being an accessory even though it was a SS class ring.

Many readers speculated that this ring maybe had a resonance with an important story plot at the end but nothing of such sort happened. It remained an accessory which symbolized the eternal love, peace and security given to Seo Jinha by Kim Hyesung, the male lead.

But now it was in his hands and the culprits were excitedly flapping their wings and dancing around him.

'What should I do now?'

But before that another question suddenly churned in his mind.

'Did this mean that Jinha or Hyesung might have been involved in the death of the two ducks? But for what reason? '

Jihan looked back at the duck fluttering around everywhere with joy and looking at him excitedly as if he was a famous idol and they were here for the fan meet.

"...."

"Would the two of you like to follow me? You might not be safe right here..."

He watched the ducks grow silent for a moment and then he watched as the male duck came towards him.

He could keenly understand what he wanted him to know.

"You do not need to worry or feel indebted by this, this is merely our duty."

Jihan hesitated but eventually nodded.

"Jihan, My name."

The ducks grew silent then quacked at him happily.

Jihan respectfully bowed to the two divine beings and left the lake, he wore the extra set of clothes he brought and put the rings in his bag's secret pocket. After that he checked the date and sighed in relief when he saw it was just 25th. He still had 3 days to settle everything for the rift. After confirming everything walked towards the point at which helicopters would be available to pick him up, but a bizarre sight greeted him there.

There were 2-3 units of army gathered there and they were securing the whole range and in the very middle of it all stood a really tall man.

Badum-Badum.

He had his hands behind his back and his powerful back was facing Jihan. In a fitting dark blue suit as if sensing hi stare he turned around and stared right at Jihan with his piercing eyes.

Badum-Badum

Jihan could feel the grace of the true noblesse oblige from him as his eyes commanded authority. An aura that tilted the word towards him even though he was a character that died early. After seeing him with his own eyes he could not believe that a guy like him was just a mere cannon fodder.

Yoon Jonghyun.

He had thought he won't be able to catch him but Jihan guessed that he loved his money more than he thought.

"....."

'I shouldn't have stole that much.'

Jihan regretted it very much right now.

Even if this guy was a cannon fodder he shouldn't have crossed the line with him.

Then he watched the man stretch his hand towards him and flicked his fingers.

'Come here'

He could sense what he meant.

Jihan at this moment instinctively knew that he should not get involved with this guy at any cost if he wanted to live like a sloth.
