However, Gita, deeply concerned about her brother's state, inquired, her voice quivering, "Brother, we have come so far. Can you please enlighten me about what transpired?"

Upon hearing Gita's question, Mohan gently released her from his embrace, allowing her to land softly on the ground.

Mohan himself sat down, and as soon as he did, a sharp pain shot through his body.

However, consumed by the urgency of their escape and the need to protect his sister, Mohan failed to acknowledge the pain that coursed through him.

Despite his discomfort, he clenched his fist, determined not to show any signs of distress.

He knew that if Gita saw his pained expression, she would surely start sobbing, and he didn't want to add to her worries.

With a reassuring smile, Mohan gestured for Gita to come and sit beside him, using a nod of his head to guide her.

Upon hearing his invitation, Gita approached her brother and settled down next to him.
