"Y'know, I don't think you're supposed to be nice to someone who stalks you. Only weirdos would do that," Fanzer insulted Jumin, insulting himself in the process.

"Now, miss Asami, why in the world are you in my attic?" Jumin asked, completely ignoring his friend's comment.

"Well... Um...." She got choked up, beginning the blush profusely in the process.

"Eh, her response doesn't matter! Under the rules of having way too many awesome systems, she'll have to prove herself in combat!" Fanzer announced, informing the stumbling stalker.

"Wow, you're not gonna even let me have that? But, it's as he says. We have to see your skills," Jumin tapped the girl on the nose once before taking her hand in his and guiding her to his spot.

"He likes her," Fanzer whispered to Kotone, but made sure it was just loud enough for Jumin and Asami to hear. She silently nodded, hugging him a little bit tighter than before.

Jumin just rolled his eyes, making sure his friend could clearly see it.

"Jumin's holding my hand, oh my god, I'm never going to wash my hand ever again! Tonight is going to be amazing, it'll finally be like Jumin and I are finally together like we should be!" The orange-haired girl muttered to herself endlessly, just low enough that nobody could hear her exact words.

"Huh, what'd you say?" Jumin questioned, causing the girl to quickly reply.

"Nothing! Absolutely nothing!" She giggled, reminding the two of Kotone's tendencies early in her and Fanzer's relationship.

"I guess I'll be your first opponent, since Fanzer―" His friend let out a loud single-laugh, "―beat me, he'll be your final opponent."

"Okay!" The girl cheered, her quiet nature seeming to move to the background while a much louder and more confident one stepped up to the plate.

Jumin and Fanzer traded glances, but neither of them said anything as Fanzer passed his controller over to the pumped-up stalker.

"The battle of the ages shall begin...." The game's announcer-woman began, and Jumin got ready to expect the unexpected, while Asami looked to be focusing even further, if that was even possible.

"Go!" And the battle began.

Dash, quarter-circle backwards X, double down, super-dash, the room was silent except for the precise button inputs from both sides.

Hit and hit, combo and combo, they traded attacks back and forth, neither side took a large advantage.

Then, at the last moment, Asami pulled out an unstoppable combo, defeating Jumin right before he could defeat her.

"Jeez, I must've lost all my skill at this game," Jumin let out a long sigh, falling back into a relaxed position in his seat.

"That was pretty close though. I won't lose easy though!" Fanzer challenged Asami, who stuck her tongue out at him.

"I won't either!" She barked back, but then quieted down when she made eye contact with Kotone, who silently but confidently looked at Asami.

"Do they... know each other?" Fanzer noticed, shaking his head as he caught Jumin's thrown controller and laid back, almost falling into Kotone's softness. "It's not important, what's important is that I don't lose!"

After choosing their characters, the match began.

Then the match ended.

"Huh?" Fanzer stumbled.

"Huh?" Jumin stumbled.

...

...

...

"That was pretty fun!" Asami exclaimed, seeming to completely miss Fanzer and Jumin's completely dejected groans.

"She just like..."

"Turned you inside out. She could've easily done that to me. That was..."

"Ridiculous. Like..."

"Wow."

The two friends went back and forth for a moment, finishing one another's sentences like it was a challenge.

"I won... so does that mean..." Asami looked over to Jumin with wide eyes, shimmering with true hope. Jumin's heart skipped a beat as he looked into Asami's eyes.

With one glance Fanzer knew it was his time to go, so he silently rose and made sure Kotone was with him, and they left the attic, and right after, the home.

"Y'know, you're my type," Jumin told Asami, offering his hand to the girl. She took it hesitantly, but as he pulled her to her feet, she let out a small yelp.

"N-no, I didn't know that..." She spoke quietly, as the distance between the two was slowly closed.

"I've never kissed anybody before..." Jumin told the girl, who sucked in air quickly in surprise, but didn't pull away.

"Would you... like to be the first..." The question was lost in the air as the distance between the two was closed, the two's lips connecting.

"Whew, cleaning was not on my plan at all today!" Fanzer whistled, suddenly stopping and taking Kotone's arms off his collarbone, causing her to let out a small sound of sadness.

It was quickly muffled when Fanzer gave her a kiss, surprising her.

It wasn't a light kiss either. It was a deep very loving kiss. Fanzer pulled away as the kiss finished, putting Kotone's arms around her collarbone again and continuing his way home, acting as if nothing happened.

In turn, Kotone didn't bring it up either.

She did bring up something else though.

"That girl, Asami, she attacked me," Kotone dropped, causing Fanzer to suddenly stop walking. Sensing his worry, she continued.

"Her and I aren't that different actually. She just wanted to make sure I wasn't competition for Jumin, but I just explained from her that I already have the most perfect guy around," Kotone complimented, trying to make sure Fanzer wasn't worried, but her plan failed.

"Are you okay?" He asked, his tone sounding like an overly worried parent.

"I'm okay."

"Are you sure?"

"I promise I'm okay. I promise that," Kotone told Fanzer, pulling him into a tighter hug. "I promise you; I'm trying to avoid any harmful situations possible, just for you, okay dear?"

A smile slowly crept onto Fanzer's face, the endearing term making him happy even when he was worried.

"...Okay," He grinned sheepishly, lifting one of Kotone's hands and giving it a small kiss.

This act suddenly shocked Kotone, sending her into a gibbering mess.

"Huh?" Fanzer looked up to his girlfriend, noticing the deep red hue on her face.

"I always dreamed of that..." Kotone shyly admitted, bringing a genuinely happy smile to Fanzer's face.

"You're adorable, you know that?" Fanzer complimented, kissing his girlfriend.

"Now, let's go back home. How does some Cowboy Bebop sound to you?" He questioned, gaining a small nod from his girlfriend.

"Anything sounds perfect, as long as I'm with you."
