There, he spotted Liam and approached him, unable to contain his emotions any longer. "Liam, why do you hide your true beauty behind that helmet?" Philip asked softly, his heart racing.

Liam, taken aback by Philip's presence, tried to maintain his composure. "Prince Philip, you shouldn't be here," he said.

On the same night, Annabelle received a letter from her father, instructing her to meet him at an abandoned house located a short distance from the kingdom. As Annabelle arrived at the designated location, she noticed her father's furious expression.

"I'm running out of patience! Where is my ruby?" King Edward exclaimed angrily, his tone filled with frustration. Annabelle, feeling overwhelmed and scared, stuttered as she tried to explain herself. "I... I tried, but Philip refuses to tell me until we're married," she managed to say.

"But your wedding is in just two days! You must retrieve it, or Collins will starve to death," her father warned sternly. Before Annabelle could inquire about Collin's well-being, King Edward abruptly mounted his horse and rode away, leaving her standing there, trying to hold back her tears.

Feeling a mix of emotions, Annabelle made her way back, her heart heavy with worry and a sense of responsibility for the well-being of her beloved.
