"You should submit." In that heated moment, both Philip and Liam were overcome by their intense connection, giving in to their desires and the electricity between them. "What just happened?" Philip whispered, his voice laced with uncertainty.

Tangled Hearts and Hidden Agendas

Annabelle stood on the whispering willow bridge, waiting for Orion to arrive. "What took you so long?" she asked as he approached. "Don't worry, he's as good as dead. He was shot with an arrow through the chest," Orion replied. "So, where's the body? You know no one will believe King Philip is truly dead unless there's a body," Annabelle said.


Suddenly, they heard an explosion coming from the whispering woods. Startled, they both turned to see what had caused it. "Well, bring me the body! Bring me the body!" Annabelle exclaimed. Orion led the remaining members of the Evergreena Shadows to the whispering woods while Annabelle watched from the bridge.


As they arrived in the woods, they found only burnt carcasses of their crew. They moved deeper into a clearing and discovered Liam with King Philip'sbody on the ground. "Hands in the air! You did this!" Orion shouted. Liam turned, his eyes glowing bright green as he locked his gaze on them. "He's a warlock!" one of the crew members said  trembling in fear.


Liam began murmuring a spell, and panic set in. "Run!" Orion screamed as he sprinted away. Unfortunately, the crew members were unable to escape, orion ran as  they exploded from the inside. Orion reached the bridge, grabbed Annabelle, and pulled her onto his horse. They raced back to the castle, but Annabelle couldn't help but look back. She saw Liam emerging from the woods, covered in blood and menacingly carrying King Philip's  body.                                                               When they arrived at the castle, Orion looked utterly shocked, almost broken. "I have no crew," he murmured. "What?" Annabelle asked, confused. "You took my crew! You and your father lies sent me after a warlock!" Orion shouted in pain. "A warlock? King Philip isn't a warlock," Annabelle said, trying to reason with him.


But before she could say anything else, Orion lunged at her, grabbing her and placing a sword against her neck. "You will take me to the Fiery Ember Ruby. I don't know where it is," Annabelle said, fear creeping into her voice.


Just then, Liam broke through the door, carrying King Philip with anger in his eyes. Orion saw the anger in Liam's eyes and made a split-second decision. He jumped out of the castle window and escaped.
