"Hm..." I said as I noticed the clouds above me, "Something's not right."
The sky was darkened by the massive storm clouds. I couldn't shake off this feeling of dread, as if something bad was about to happen.
There were a lot of things happening lately, that seemed too odd to be a coincidence. This whole Eclipse thing, Jenny, and from what the screen said, a spy was amidst us. I wonder what the hell is going on and what does any of that have to do with me.
The whole eclipse darkness leak, it all seemed too fishy. So Mard Geer had tempered with the Eclipse Gate, and siphoned the magic power from it in order to use it for his conversion, right? How does it turn into some sort of darkness that can corrupt the Celestial Spirit World? I needed answers for that stuff, none of it made sense at the moment.
I took a step forward, "Tch." I said aloud to nobody, "Why does this whole thing stink?"
I then noticed as the Blue Screen appeared,
"ALERT: NEW SPELLS AVAILABLE FOR UNLOCK."
"Black God Slayer Spells?" I asked
"YES. SECRET ARTS."
"Okay." I said, "Show me."
I saw as the screen changed.
It read:
Dreaded Graveyard: Wave your hand and darkness will sprout from the ground, anyone caught in it will be damaged greatly. This is an area of effect spell, reaching for almost 100 meters. (Points required: 15)
Outer One's Gaze: Wave your arms as the area around you darkens slightly, a massive sphere of dark light appears above you and your opponent and the light fires off a massive destructive beam of darkness at your opponent. (Points Required: 15)
Black Coffin: Engulf your opponent in a massive amount of darkness, trapping them. The darkness will solidify in a massive rectangular prison. When it closes fully, the coffin will explode, dealing a massive amount of damage. (Points Required: 15)
I see, so these are the Secret Arts, huh.
"Screen." I said, "How many spells left to fully unlock the Black God Slayer tree?"
"THESE THREE SECRET ARTS AND A COUPLE MORE."
"I see." I said, "What else is available?"
"ONLY A TRAIT. BUT THIS ONE WILL REQUIRE YOU TO UNLOCK THESE THREE SPELLS FIRST."
I raised an eyebrow, "Is that so?" I said, "How many points do I have?"
"YOU CURRENTLY HAVE 3 POINTS."
I don't even have enough for a single secret art. And I need 45 to fully unlock all three. I spent 50 recently to obtain the immunity to negative effects from eating the eclipse darkness and other lethal black things.
"Show me what it is, anyway." I said
I saw as the screen switched.
It Read:
God Force: Channel the true power of a god. To obtain this ability, you must obtain the 3 Black God Slayer Secret Arts first. Entering God Force will differ with each God Slayer magic in your arsenal. It should be noted, that while you can enter God Force when using other God Slayer magic, that version of God Force will be much weaker than the Black God Slayer version, as it is the original and true God Force.

"Huh?" I said, "Screen, why are there hyphens there and no words?"
"YOU MUST UNLOCK GOD FORCE TO READ THOSE CONTENTS FIRST."
"Tch." I muttered, "Pain in the ass."
"IT IS WHAT IT IS."
"Yea yea." I said, "You mentioned there only being a couple more to unlock. Man, I suppose it'll been better to choose Black God Slayer Magic first rather than Martial Arts Magic.....so once I unlock them all, I can unlock War Magic?"
"THAT IS CORRECT. ONCE ALL BLACK GOD SLAYER SPELLS ARE UNLOCKED, YOU CAN UNLOCK WAR MAGIC. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT MARTIAL ARTS MAGIC STILL NEEDS VARIOUS SPELLS TO UNLOCK."
"Meh." I said, "There's a shitload of things in that tree, I'd rather stick with Black God Slayer Magic for now. It isn't as simple as I thought, but the complexity of Martial Arts Magic can give someone a headache. I find it useful that I can use some techniques with god slayer magic, so that's useful."
"YOU MENTION COMPLEXITY, BUT I MUST WARN YOU, THE COMPLEXITY OF WAR MAGIC WILL MAKE MARTIAL ARTS MAGIC SEEM LIKE CHILD'S PLAY. THERE ARE VARIOUS WAY TO MAKE THAT MAGIC POTENT."
"Yea, I got an idea." I said as I looked up at the sky, "Say, screen, do you detect any Eclipse Darkness?"
"WHY DO YOU ASK?"
"The sky is unusually violent." I said
The clouds above were crackling with lightning as thunder began to boom. I felt a cold shift in the air as the wind began to blow a bit harder than usual. Something was wrong and I knew it.
"I DO DETECT A MASSIVE LEAK SEVERAL KILOMETERS FROM HERE, NEXT TO A SMALL VILLAGE."
I frowned, "What the fuck?" I said, "And you don't mention anything?"
"IT IS NOT MY PLACE NOR RESPONSIBILITY TO DO SO."
"Yea yea, whatever." I said, "I better get on that."
"Before anything bad happens."
