Hot Springs Gauntlet: Prologue

(Jason's POV)

"So..." I said to the owners of the Hot Springs Resort, "How much is the entry?"

It was the following morning after I had landed from the sky. I was in the main front building that acted as the entrance to the hot springs. There were a couple of other buildings next to the main springs that were basically rooms for it.

I left the resort and entered the Workshop to sleep and work on some stuff and then I returned here in the morning.

The guy from last night who wore the straw hat looked at me, "Uhm." He said nervously, "It's a couple hundred jewels.." He said

I raised an eyebrow, "I see." I said, "I don't have the cash on me, unfortunately.....but...."

I pulled out a solid gold bar from a pouch I had.

"How much will this buy me?" I asked

His eyes widened as he shakily took the bar, "Uhm..." He said, "This is solid gold...."

The glasses guy walked up and took the gold bar, inspecting it closely, "Oh my...." He said, "S-sir...this is way too much for a day's payment.....It's simply too much!"

I shrugged, "Nah, It's good." I said, "Consider it an apology for disrupting you guys last night."

He looked at me as he fixed his glasses, "A-Are you sure?" He asked

I nodded, "Oh, yea." I said, "I got plenty of those."

I then pulled out a solid black obsidian God-Steel ingot and showed it to them.

"Now here." I said, "Probably more valuable than that Gold bar. Frankly, I don't know how much that gold is but this....ooooh boy, lemme tell you."

They both inched closer, "W-What is this?" Straw Hat guy asked, "Is it some sort of metal? Is that steel?"

The glasses guy fixed his glasses as he inspected the ingot, "It looks like some sort of mixed steel...." He said, "The color....it's pitch black....and it looks like it....slightly vibrating..."

I smirked, "You see..." I said looking around to see if nobody was listening, "You guys look like nice fellas, so I'll let you in on this....this right here is a very special, very strong type of steel. I'm being serious, if you craft a weapon or armor with this right, they'll be extremely durable, nearly unbreakable!"

Straw Hat guy frowned, "We're not smiths....or warriors..." He said, "We're simply owners of this Hot Springs resort, what good is this gonna be to us.."

I shook my head, "You don't get it, do you?" I said, "It won't be useful to you, exactly. But if anyone out in the world realizes its true value and how rare it is, they'll pay plenty of money for even a single ingot, I promise you!"

Glasses guy looked at me, "W-What makes you so sure?" He asked

"I'm the one only one that can produce this type of steel." I said, "I call it God-Steel, the strongest metal one can acquire. I'm serious, if the general public find out about this, they'll go crazy. I'll give you guys another reason for it's value."

They looked at each other briefly and then at me, "What is it?" Straw Hat guy asked

"You guys may not sense it but that slight vibration you see..." I said, "It's magic power. This is a magic steel. That alone should sell you guys on it's value."

I handed it to Straw Hat guy who reluctantly held it in his hands.

"And you're giving it to us?" He asked

I nodded, "Sure. I got plenty of that." I said, "It may not pay off now, but soon, trust me."

They looked at each other again and at the gold bar and ingot.

Glasses guys then looked at me, "Sir this gold bar is enough to last you more than a week at this resort." He said, "How would you use that?"

I shrugged, "I'll probably come later tonight." I said, "I got some errands to run. Oh by the way, I didn't get your names."

Straw Hat guy looked at me, "Tendo." He said, "I'm Tendo. This here is Seth."

I nodded, "Nice to meet you guys." I said, "You guys friends or something? Brothers? Or just business partners?"

Seth rubbed his hair, "Well, partners for sure, but more than business." He said with a slight smile, "We've been running this resort for more than 15 years."

"Ohh..." I said, "I see....Oh well, I'll be back later today."

Tendo nodded, "O-Okay." He said, "We'll be waiting."

I turned around and walked away.

***********************************************************************

"Maaaaannnn...." I said as I sat down in the waters, "This is the stuff...."

I felt the warmth of the hot springs waters as the steam slowly hit my face. My entire body was feeling relaxed at the moment.

I had been in the Workshop almost all day, in real-time, but inside the shop it was more than that since time works differently in there.

I was working on my main project, my airship. It was almost done and I was very excited to pull it out when it was.

Not only that, but I began the process to put magic power in the Holy Spear. I kinda figured out a process but it'll take a while to complete. I wasn't exactly sure if I refueled it with magic power, I would have access to the other forms or not. If that's not the case, I would have to forge the other forms myself and it'll take a while to do that and fuse them as well. All in all, it was gonna be a tough challenge to tackle.

I leaned back, "Hm..." I said, "Ten Commandments huh?"

The Ten Commandments were from Rave Master originally. It was a Sword, not a Spear. The wielder was Haru Glory but he was the successor, it was actually Shiba who was the first user, I believe.

I opened my eyes, "Wait a minute..."

There was another power in Rave Master.....it was the counter I believe, to Ten Commandments....

I then smiled, "Oh, another idea just popped into my head." I said, "This will be fun! With War Magic and my Workshop, anything is possible! First the Trick Weapons that I just started and now the Ten Commandments!"

As I said that, I heard movement in the water.

I looked to my left to see someone was there.

"Oh!" I heard a familiar voice said, "There was someone here!"

I squinted to see a blue-haired sexy babe, wearing nothing but a towel

Juvia was blushing as she looked at me with a surprised face.

"Juvia?" I said, "Is that you?"

"J-Jason-san!" She said, "Juvia hasn't seen you in a while!"

"How have you been?"
