Flying Out of The Continent

(Jason's POV)

"Hmm..." I said aloud, "Wonder what adventures the world has in store for us..."

I was inside The Archangel's Might, piloting the warship inside the cockpit. I was looking at the screens, seeing nothing but normal stuff on the radar and energy readers.

Suddenly, one of the speakers installed turned on.

"Nothing in our vicinity, sir." A female voice said, "I have shields ready to deploy automatically if there are any shots fired at us."

I nodded, "Thanks Felicity." I said, "That's nice."

This was the Warmind: Felicity. After unlocking her, I received a hard drive that I would install inside the Warship. Until I obtain the Nemesis War-Fortress, I would have her here.

She's a real help, she can do stuff I have trouble doing because I need practice. She can take control of the ship and fly it while I don't have to do anything at all. That'll be real handy when I transport out of it. She can also access my Machine God SlayerxAdvanced Core set up I have on it and do anything I tell her to do.

She's incredibly loyal, and does everything I tell her to. Even though she's an A.I, I speak to her like a regular person at times.

I wonder what her full capabilities are. I mean, she's only limited to this Warship at the moment. And she can do a lot of crazy shit with it, but the War-Fortress required her to be fully operational. I imagine her full power is when on The Nemesis.

I have to get the points for that. I only have 25 since I got Felicity. I needed 85 to get the Nemesis and the W.M.D.

"Sir, If I may ask." Felicity said, "Where do you plan on heading? I can place coordinates and have the ship on auto-pilot while you sleep."

That's really thoughtful.

I shrugged, "I don't know." I said, "I haven't decided yet."

"Understood." She said

I really didn't know where to go. There was something that was bugging me, Silver. Apparently he had headed to Guiltina. I did wonder why, I mean I couldn't exactly find out why since I was sent to Edolas for two months. But I intend to find out what he did.

I did plan on going to stop him from doing something stupid, but I was halted. Now I'm not so sure If I wanna do it. Maybe it was worth a shot, going to investigate what he did. I have nothing else to do, I kinda don't want to be in Ishgar considering that the fucking Magic Council attacked me.

I sighed, "I guess..." I said

"Sir?" Felicity asked

"Take us out of the continent." I said, "Head for Guiltina."

"Roger. Setting coordinates now." She said, "I'll set the ship to autopilot, you can rest, Master Jason."

I saw that the screens began to glow and blink as the coordinates were being inputted. I then let go of the wheel and leaned the seat back as began to relax.

"Alrighty..." I said, "Wake me up when something happens, Felicity. Gonna take a nap."

"Understood, sir." She said through the speaker, "Sleep well."

****************************************************************

"Sir, please wake up." I heard Felicity call out

I opened my eyes and sat up, groaning as I stretched.

"What is it?" I said groggily, "We being attacked? I'll fucking beat the shit outta them..."

"No sir. We have a strange situation." She said

I looked out, seeing that the ship was hovering in the middle of the air.

"What?" I said, "Where are we?"

"We're in the middle of the sea, 75 miles off the coast of Guiltina." She said, "But there's something wrong. The island in front of us."

I looked in front of us, below in the sea, there was a massive island. It looked like a regular forest island but I saw what she meant. The entirety of the island was surrounded by a strange grey mist that was right above the waters. I also noticed some kind spatial distortion around the airs of the island.

"Hm..." I said, "Can't you fly over it?"

"I attempted to, sir." She said, "But the strange spatial distortions were causing interference. I am merely an A.I, I couldn't risk being damaged or bringing damage to the ship. "

I leaned on my arm, "I see." I said, "So there's a massive distortion field that is preventing us from traversing the skies above this island, huh? And the origin is down there...."

"That is correct sir." She said

"Any hostiles?" I asked

"So far, none." She replied

"Can we go down there?" I asked

"We can, I scanned the entirety of the island, there is no distortion on the land, only on the air and waters surrounding it." Felicity said, "We can land safely, albeit a bit of distortional bumps."

I nodded, "Take us there." I said, "Land us quickly."

"I'm gonna investigate it."
