Ruinous Extermination

(Third Person POV)

Jason released an intense aura as a massive sword formed in his hand, resembling a large oversized odachi.

It looked like it was made from the bone and scales of Erion that fell off of him due to the damage taken during the attacks on him. It was dark, exactly like the scales on Erion's body and it gave off a powerful and ominous aura.

Ajeel widened his eyes, feeling a weird power coming from the sword.

"W-What the hell is that?" He said

"Ruinous Extermination...." Jason said, "A result of my War Magic's transmutation...but it doesn't matter to you, or it shouldn't."

Ajeel gathered sand on his hand, "Oh yea?!" He exclaimed, "I'll still kill you, you fucker!!"

He swung his arm at Jason, sending several sand projectiles with great speed.

Jason immediately swung his massive odachi sword, cutting the projectiles and causing a shockwave.

"That all you got?" Jason said with a serious glare, "Seems my boy did more damage to you than you'd like to admit."

Ajeel's veins popped out on his forehead as he glared at Jason, "What did you say?!" He growled, "I'll have you know, I'm just getting started!!!"

"Sand World!!!"

Suddenly, the entire area around the failing ship they were on was surrounded and engulfed in a massive sandstorm.

From The Nemesis, Mavis and Lucy saw this; a massive sandstorm that dwarfed all of the ships there, including the Nemesis itself.

"What power..." Mavis noted

They were next to Erion who was struggling to move, bleeding profusely as he whimpered.

Lucy turned back to the dragon, "Oh, E-Erion-kun...." she said as she looked at him, "We'll have Wendy fix you up..."

Mavis walked up to Erion's face as she patted his massive snout gently, "It's okay, dear..." She said with a smile, "You did well. I know it's painful right now, but you did your job. Just rest and take it easy, okay?"

They were both trying to soothe the dragon, fully aware of his temperament and wanted to do everything in their power to keep him from going back out there.

Erion looked at Mavis, whimpering. Mavis noticed a hint of disappointment in his large piercing blue eyes. It's like she was able to understand his feelings; Erion was ashamed that he was badly injured by the attacks. But it was to be expected, this was a full-scale battle that Jason was trying to mitigate to the least amount of damage.

It is only expected that a large target like Erion, besides the Nemesis itself, that would targeted by heavy fire. It is also expected for a young and technically still Newborn Dragon to have low defenses against high-octane magic conversion cannons. It is not Erion's fault at all and Mavis knew that.

"Oh, darling..." She said with a sad smile, "Don't be disappointed that you got hurt, it's okay. You're just a child....You're not supposed to be fighting."

Erion then looked down, letting out another whimper.

"He's bleeding really bad.." Wendy said as she tried to heal him, "I don't know what I can do about this...."

Mavis was about to say something when they heard loud explosions. They all turned to see the ships next to them being hit by massive fire attacks; Natsu was fighting them still. Aside from him being flown around by Happy, only the Nemesis was returning fire, taking down ships by the second with ease. The War-Fortress was turning the tide on this battle like it was nothing.

"Seems Natsu is going crazy." Cana said, "I wonder if Jason's doing alright."

Back to the fight with Ajeel and Jason, the Desert King was hitting Jason with attacks from all directions, cutting Jason's body up with ease.

"Shit..." Jason said as he tried to deflect the sand projectiles, "Can't get a read on him...forgot about this spell..."

The fact that there was a literal sandstorm on him wasn't helping either. Sand was swirling around him, hitting him from all directions. Jason couldn't hone in Ajeel, the whole area was full of his magic power, it was as if he was everywhere; which he was. The Sand World spell covers the whole area in a devastating sandstorm that Ajeel could assimilate in and attack from all directions.

"Hahaha!!" Ajeel's laughter could be heard all around him, "How do you like that?!"

Jason was then hit by a massive blast of sand that sent him flying back. He was able to compose himself, planting his feet on the crumbling deck of the ship, covering his eyes as sand hit him.

"Dammit..." He said, "I even disabled my Absolute Grid too....it couldn't last that long.....The Nemesis should take care of the rest of the fleet, I'm worried about Erion too..."

"Worry about yourself!" Ajeel yelled

He then momentarily materialized in front of Jason and hit him with several sand blades, similar to how he cut Erion.

The attack sent Jason reeling as he wasn't able to react in time, but to Ajeel's surprise, there was no blood drawn.

"Eh?" Ajeel said as he assimilated into the sand, "Your body is tougher than the Dragon's? That's ridiculous, those same blades cut him up!!"

Jason swung his sword around, sending air slices that attempted to cut up the sand, to no avail.

"Fucker..." Jason gritted his teeth

"In here, I am God." Ajeel said all around Jason, "You shall do well to bow down to God. For you shall be hopeless against his might!!!"

"Ramal Fa'as!!"

Ajeel materialized above Jason, forming two double-bladed axes on his arms as he dropped down, swinging his axes down at Jason.

Jason sensed this at the last second and parried his axes with his blade, bouncing Ajeel off of him with ease. He then followed up with a quick counter slash that was able to hit Ajeel, but his body was made out of sand so there was no damage as the Shield assimilated into the sand yet again.

"Damn..." Jason said

"I must admit, your blade is quite sturdy." Ajeel said, "But it won't save you against me..."

As Jason took a step back, he was beginning to feel a bit frustrated. Several thoughts fill his head as sand hit him from everywhere.

'This is just great..' he thought to himself

The Blue Screen then appeared next to him.

"FOCUS ON THE SWORD, THE BLADE'S POWER WILL DRAW OUT WHEN YOU FOCUS ON THE FLESH'S MEMORY. BECOME ONE WITH THIS PARTICULAR BLADE, SINCE IT IS MADE FROM THE FLESH OF YOUR OWN SON, YOUR BLOOD, MAKING THIS SWORD A PART OF YOU, IN A WAY. JUST FOCUS, JASON, FOCUS."

Without saying a word, Jason readied a stance, holding the massive odachi from its handle as he focused. The blade began to emit a dark misty aura as Jason had his eyes closed, ignoring everything around him and just focusing on the sword, like the screen instructed.

Ajeel looked at this, "What's this?" He said, "An opening? How foolish!!"

He materialized above Jason and launched himself straight at him with rapid speed, forming a massive sand axe on his hand.

As he reached Jason, his sword emitted a thick dark aura causing a shockwave that staggered Ajeel in midair.

"H-Huh?" Ajeel said with surprise

Jason then opened his eyes and in an instant, blurred past Ajeel.

Suddenly, Ajeel's chest exploded with blood as a massive cut appeared out of nowhere.

"G-Gahh!!!" Ajeel shouted in pain, "W-What the hell was that?!"

Jason turned around as he was engulfed in a dark aura, his irises black as his eye glowed dark blue.

"Ruinous Extermination: "

He then readied a stance and as soon as Ajeel gathered his composure and turned to face him, with a shocked look on his face, he lunged at him again.

Jason rushed past Ajeel again, this time, he had swung a bit harder and aimed to cut deeper.

"Hunter's Severance"

Ajeel widened his eyes yet again as his left arm exploded with blood as it fell off.

"Aaghh!!" He shouted

His stomach also exploded with blood as it was cut deeply; Jason had swung his blade twice, aiming to bisect Ajeel with brutal slashes of his sword. The force of the attack sent Ajeel flying upwards as his spell deactivated due to him being rendered unconscious.

Jason turned around, "There you go, you bastard." He growled as he glared at Ajeel, "I don't bow to gods."

"I slay them."
