Chapter 133: 133

On one of the radar stations in Northern Philippines, it was twelve midnight, and the staff responsible for the radar scurried about, preparing for their upcoming shifts. The men and women working at their computer stations got up, making way for the radar operators coming from the hallway to replace them.

One of them was a man named Gregorio, holding a hot coffee mug with its sweet fragrance perfuming the air.

"Anything interesting happen?" Gregorio asked Melchor, who simply stretched his arms and yawned.

"Same old, same old. An eight-hour boring shift with no news of any unusual phenomena," Melchor said with an exasperated expression while rubbing his eyes. "I should've enlisted in the army instead. There, nothing is boring, and you get to fight on the frontlines..." He trailed off and sighed again, shaking his head as if trying to wake himself up.
