Aric's sudden appearance in the bustling tournament venue caught Rylan and Wise Sage off guard a bit. He approached them with an amiably polite demeanor, but the sly smirk playing on his lips was hard to miss. Both Rylan and Wise Sage could sense that Aric was up to something.

"Rylan, Wise Sage," Aric greeted with a nod, his tone oozing false congeniality. "It's nice seeing you two here. Ready to test your skills in the tournament, I assume?"
