Joy looked at her suspiciously: "What do you mean?"

Sensing her wariness, KATY joked: "Relax, I won't sell you out. Our Mr. Reed asked me to take care of you, you can rest assured now."

Joy remained skeptical. Dean had hung up on her and hadn't responded to her WhatsApp messages, clearly still sulking. There's no way he'd help her.

But indeed, KATY was an employee at Dean's hotel. She was serving on the boat just yesterday.

"Aren't you a hotel employee? Why did he arrange for you to do all these things?"

Dean was a big shot. It was unlikely he would directly order a hotel employee to help her. He definitely wouldn't have the time to spare.
