The woman noticed their car and quickly rose from the chair, saying something to the maid next to her.

Although it was a glance from the car, Grandma Reed gave her a different first impression than she had imagined.

Her white hair was striking. Joy had assumed that someone from a wealthy family like hers would take good care of her appearance, perhaps dyeing her hair to hide her age.

But she had not.

The car stopped in the courtyard's plaza. The plaza, paved with vintage bluestone, had space for ten cars and was now full.

Joy got out of the car with Dean and glanced around the courtyard. In three words, it was - full of history.

The courtyard was extremely large. Standing in the middle, Joy couldn't see the walls on all four sides. The castle, stream, and pavilion were all present, and in the center of the courtyard was a giant thousand-year-old tree. The whole style was like a European noble garden.
