I know I joked about just accidentally running into Eri, but this was not exactly what I meant. I had a little girl in my arms who had passed out, a germaphobe villain with crippled hands who had also passed out, and young All Might who had passed out from pure shock. How on earth am I going to explain this to Nezu?
"Midoriya, will you stop freaking out," I yelled at the young hero who obviously was shaking in his boots.
___________
Midoriya, All Might, and I were meeting up to talk about mentorship the day before the sports festival. I had given Midoriya a lot of advice about his quirk and how it related to mine and had to act like I couldn't hear them whispering together about One for All in front of me before they decided that it might be a good idea to tell me.
All Might encouraged him to tell me since it was his secret now and that Recovery Girl had already connected me to health training so that I could be Midoriya's health confidant.
My days were now swamped with studying for a Medical Quirk License which wasn't that hard because it was mostly just anatomy. They tailored the content of everyone's Medical License to their quirk so that those without explicit regenerative quirks or that had quirks that did the work for them like mine, didn't need to have the same schooling. I would definitely need to research how laws in medical history have changed since quirks.
We chose to meet up at a café, had a long private conversation in a private room where we talked about both of our quirks, and I encouraged them to tell Aizawa so that he could assist with Midoriya's quirk development correctly. I could just see the man glaring at All Might, but it was important for him to know as Midoriya's main teacher outside of All Might.
"You really need to stop calling me All Might, young lady. My name is Toshinori Yagi. Especially while I am in this form. You are one of the few people who have seen this form and deserve it with how much you have helped my successor."
"Well then Toshinori-san, did you have a teacher that knew about your quirk?" I gave him a questioning glare. "I'll be totally honest, the impression that I got of Midoriya before I knew this whole quirk business is that he had absolutely no idea how to use his quirk, and knowing that Present Mic and I had to give you a ton of advice about teaching, something tells me you had a good teacher for your quirk."
All Might's face went sheet white and sweat dripped from his brow. His eyes strayed from mine and with a cough he said, "Ah, haha, yes, I did… I totally forgot… Yes, it is probably a good idea to tell Aizawa." He just emanated fear. Goodness Gran Torino, what did you do to the poor guy?
"Are you okay with that Midoriya?" Midoriya looked shaken but was able to respond.
"Yeah, I think that is a good idea. It would help me a lot and I trust Mr. Aizawa."
"Well, putting your life on the line for your students will certainly build that trust." I giggled. The dude was going to get the surprise of his life.
Midoriya just shook his head. We were on our way out when the little white-haired girl slammed into us. Thank goodness, this was going to be so easy.
Eri looked up at us with big round eyes that could crack the coldest hearts. "Please help me."
I scooped her up with my arms and had her hold one of my tails. "Well, you got lucky little miss, I'm a hero so it's literally my job to help you. Can you tell me what's wrong?"
She could barely get a word out, she just started crying and holding onto my tail like it was a soft blanket.
I was looking around, waiting for Kai Chisaki. He was a villain that was all too dangerous. Speak of the devil and he shall appear. "I see you have found my daughter, please hand her over to me." A voice came out of the shadows near the side of the café where Eri had come from.
"You are a real idiot huh," I looked at Eri who looked like a bomb had gone off when she saw Chisaki. "She is obviously afraid of you. We are going to take a trip to the police station and get her a health check-up. If you are a concerned parent, come along. But to me, you don't seem the type. Am I right?"
I gave Chisaki a daring look. I would break both of his hands if he tried anything.
Chisaki gave me a big sigh. "At least this will be quick." He started to remove his gloves and reached for Eri who appropriately freaked out, kicked from my arms, and was caught by Small Might. In her panic, she activated her quirk.
"No, you are going to disappear!!" She freaked out but it was too late, Toshinori rapidly turned back into a young man. His body reverted back to his prime years as a young adult. Eri's power coursed through both of them, knocking All Might out cold. With her power all exhausted she passed out as well. All Might looked like he had regained 30 years of his life. Midoriya caught both of them quickly and backed up before Chisaki could approach anymore.
Both of us were stunned at the spectacle and turned back to face each other. "Yeah, definitely not going to let you have her back quite yet after that one. So, do you want to explain what just happened or do you want to bring back that hand?"
Chisaki's hand remained outstretched, he looked like he gave it a thought before lunging towards me.
"Yeah, thought so." I dropped passed his hand and quickly swept his feet out from under him while simultaneously grabbing him by the wrists and swiftly breaking both of them. Before he could even scream, I quickly drained his stamina to the point of passing out, giving us our third victim of sudden unconsciousness.
And that's how we ended up in this situation. We waited for the police to arrive where they hauled Chisaki away.
I wish it was always this easy.
____________
Midoriya and I rushed back to UA after we gave statements with the little girl and young All Might. Recovery Girl just sighed and started to examine Yagi.
I looked to the verdant-haired boy, "Midoriya, would you please go get Nezu and Aizawa?" He gave me a short nod and rushed out of the nurse's office.
"This girly is in bad shape; you did a good thing Inari." She sighed again and just looked on longingly, "Those two really need to stop creating so much work for me. I mean look at him, what I wouldn't do to have done to me what was done to him. He has the body of a 19-year-old again but his quirk readings are still as low as they were during his checkup this week. This is literally a medical miracle on his body. You will need to tell me what happened so that we can prepare for possible side effects though."
I ran her through the short encounter we had and the stunning display of Eri's quirk when Aizawa walked in with Nezu on his shoulder.
"You seem to find a lot of trouble recently Problem Child. Care to explain why there is a little girl and an obviously aged down All Might in the nurse's office."
I sighed and gave them a rundown of the situation as well.
Nezu gave an 'evil?' laugh and spoke excitedly, "It seems you have found us another puzzle to solve haven't you."
He giggled 'evilly?' and hopped off Aizawa's shoulder only to walk out of the office leaving us all looking like the sweat drop emoji. Well, at least my Eri problem is solved. Gotta love a plotline cop-out.
__________
A/N: I know this feels like a plotline cop-out and I totally agree, I considered writing a whole raid of the Chisaki compound for the sports festival but I really wanted to rewind All Might on accident and I didn't feel like I could do both. So I hope you enjoy the chapter of my very obvious cop-out.
