Chapter 1: It's me Lila

"I never believed that anyone could help me more than myself.

I've heard the advice of many, yet none could be compared to that which I give to myself." I would always say.

Who am I? And how did I get here? Let me rewind back to how it started.

I am Lila Spark, a 17yr old girl with dreams and expectations bigger than the size of my back pack. You can laugh about that if you wish too or maybe not.

I live in Miniville; a small town with my mum, dad, and elder brother Jesse'. I have a very lovely family, though its not your everyday family. Just so you know, I think I'm the emotional one in the family, and Jesse? He has been the shoulder I cry on.

Literally!

Moving on, I attend Miniville Senior High. And yes! The Great Miniville Senior High which some call Mini High.

You can't be in Miniville and have never heard of Mini High. In my own opinion, I feel it's just overrated. Though, it is said to be a place where all dreams and expectations are turned to a reality. I guess that's why my parents enrolled me here, instead of Presley Hill. A classy school for a classy Lila; but of course, fulfillment of dreams and expectations interest my parents more than comfort.

That saying really deceived my parents, gosh!!

Anyways, don't be deceived. In all these sarcasm and tough guy you see, deep down I think I actually like Mini High, and all I want is to fulfill my dreams of finishing high-school and going to a writing academy like 'Campbell writing Academy.

I've always wanted to study there. It's one of the best writing universities ever known. So many great authors and journalists attended that school, and are now personalities whom i hope to become. Just looking at the poster on my wall, I can already imagine myself in the school.

A school of writers and novelettes over 250 miles away from Miniville, it's literally in a different state. That makes me love it the more.

So, do you see that Mini High is nothing but a paper roll where my dream university stands?

Hahaha.....

I actually have 3 girls whom you haven't heard of yet. These girls might probably be the patients of the all-time wanted brain surgeon who was caught performing cheap surgeries and escaped.

Nhhhhhh" chuckling.

Just joking!

"Meet!!!!!!!!!!" Holding a framed picture,

"Flora, Nessa and Brea" pointing at each of them in the picture.

You might not be aware of the change in times, but I don't think two friends on a naive little me is going to be enough to survive out here. We would require brae, who for some reason ignored the name Bridget and preferred the name Brae instead. It still confuses me till this day. (Chuckling again)

In those cute high school stories of three friends; I don't know if you've noticed, but apart from those eye slaying seniors and the all-meddling cheerleaders, the main character always has a group of friends.

There's usually the smart one, the fashion type, and the school is not really my thing type; but in my case, I guess all my friends have a reasonable percentage of all three qualities and you don't want to ask me how the third quality goes with the first one. (Chuckles)

"It turns out that not everyone who gets good grades in school actually wants to be in school" Those were Nessa's words by the way.

These 3 crazy girls are the muscles that keep my cheeks standing. They take all my pains and beat them up.

Literally!!!

I can remember about 3 years ago when I felt sad because I failed my math test, they brought four pumped balloons to my house, wrote math test on them with red markers, and beat them with sticks while shouting YOU CAN'T HURT US!!!!!!!!!! until they popped.

Hahaha...

Brea got the idea- She's the violent one. Though I think it worked pretty well, because I rewrote the test and got a B. (giggling).

"And this is the end of today's recording" trying to turn off the recorder.

"It's late, i need to go to bed. Tomorrow is a big day ahead."
