Chapter 5 : I love the sound of it

I had to wake up earlier than usual. We have the world to save . I don't even know how this road or quest is gonna be like , what's going to be stake . Just yesterday I was a normal girl today I'm walking around with a bracelet that won't come off with a soul in it . It's gut retching honestly.

" You know I can't do this alone right so if you keep being quiet instead of giving me options or atleast clues on where we should search first for the remaining pieces of the book then I'm gonna quit " I said sounding annoyed .

" I can't function properly if you angry ,you have so much rage in you , I just gave you a little space. 

" Fine whatever,what's your name anyway"

" Kei I wish I knew every other detail about me is not in my head anymore. I'm trapped. I don't even know how long am gonna be in this dark place am in or if I'll ever get out of it ,it's been years. " .....did he just say it's been years ....I better not be entitled to an ancestor.

" I hear you .how about Ilario it's an ancient name and quite unique too .

"I love the sound of it" 

" Yah well it's not like you have any choice or any name you can think of .and stop calling me Kei . We are on a mission or a quest rather no pet names and flirting in the process. Understood!? ... Keisha said sternly .

" Yes understood" Ilario replied

***** Well my parents weren't home which made it easier for me to go out,( to the school in fact ) . When we got there the environment was tense ,the atmosphere seemed strange. The superiorly thick clouds rolled in like boulders ready to crush anything in their way ,the darkness was engulfing and seemed to fully consume any spec of light. Any last Hope seemed gone. Without warning water came gushing down throwing itself onto the ground like gagged knife-like rocks . I was puzzled the weather was fine all long. it was hot.

Now I know that what I'm in for is far greater and and scarier than I anticipated . The school was dead silent even a pin drop sound could be heard I walked in quick quiet steps heading to the library.

Every step I took my feet felt heavy by the time I got inside the library I was exhausted to the core there were a few students inside, too focused on their work. 

"Where are we searching first we have to be quick we can't risk being caught cause whoever was part of the sorcery is obviously still around and it's only a matter of time before they get to us" 

"Umhhh ....behind the third section on the wall painted Green there's actually a door there, where all restricted files are kept let's start there" Ilario replied

I checked my surroundings twice then I headed to the section. If it wasn't because of Ilario's senses mixed with mine I wouldn't have seen the door . I hurriedly got inside I couldn't help it, I was sneezing and coughing, the dust was too much I searched and searched every single drawer but I couldn't find anything. I eventually got tired and settle down on the dirty floor.

"Kei what are we going to do now.? Ilario asked sounding worried

" You think I know I'm just as clue less as you are ! I couldn't help snapping

"You know I was just full of life and I enjoyed Archery the most my aim was always sharp and on point. I wouldn't really miss on anything then I had to join the Polo and horse riding because it was mandatory since I'm from the royal house .I was a ladies man, until that fateful tragedy, now I can't even remember it all or how it came to this.

I could feel Ilario 's pain and how he was hiding a lot of emotions inside of him I wanted to comfort him but I didn't know how to. I felt he was caring a lot of burdens inside of him it was just the aura and demeanor he had that made him seem strong but deep down j knew he was a broken down wall ...

"You know just yesterday I was a young girl having her best and boring life in this school until the book of the history of this high school was found ,and my life just changed drastically now I don't know what's going to happen in the future or even tomorrow or today because everything just seems strange. I really wish things could go back to normal, sometimes I even feel like I hate you so much. I know you have your own life and I have my own life and despite it all , I was just a board teenager I just also want my life back and be a better daughter to my parents I can even consider doing the course they want me to do. Cause I now know that time and life including Fate itself is not in our control and destiny has its own cause.

"Kei I'm so sorry for everything that is happening and when all this is over you can choose to stay or to.....

Before he could even finish what he was saying I status screaming I felt movement behind my back I couldn't understand what was climbing on my back . I then used my hand to touch my back .I felt something like a rat on it, the more I touched to feel what it was I just froze .I couldn't help but scream louder because of its enormous size .I then used my other hands to search for anything that was close by I could use to kill the terrifying thing off me. I just kept searching with my other hand as I couldn't see.

Cause the light was getting deem ,I just felt something close to me and then took It ,it felt like a book I wanted to hit the rat so bad but it escaped before I could do anything . 

Suddenly my hands began to tremble ,my body was tensing up and becoming numb while holding the book .

"Keisha you holding the booking let's get out of here I'm sure someone heard you screaming, quick!

"I panicked as I got up and left the room . I looked dirty . Well everything was still Normal the students were now packing and getting ready to leave.

" Ilario you owe me for this . Keisha said 

I quickened my steps to leave the library when the library security stopped me .

"Miss what are you doing here . And as far as am concerned you do not like books only your friend comes here. 

"Well things change I said while hiding the book. If there's nothing else , I'll take my leave now . Mr Hidalgo.

I nodded in his direction. Now his surname sounds funny to me. Hidalgo is an ancient Italian or Greek surname and this is definitely the 21st century. 

I turned and gave him one last glare. He was still looking in my direction. Thas suspicious. Well congratulations to him his the first suspect in my list .....
