Chapter 13:" bearer of the bracelet!
In the dimly lit office at the end of the corridor stood three people with sour faces ,looking at the stars .
Person one :"So the bracelet finally found it's soulmate huh?" Asked with a wicked smile.
Person two: " yes and she seems much smarter than we thought. She already found all the scrolls ".... Replied sounding worried.
Person three : " I don't think she's doing it alone , I think there's someone helping her . But there's no one I can suspect as of now . These teenagers seem smart".
Person one: " are you complimenting them?". The atmosphere changing immediately, as the room got cold .
Person three: " not at all my lord .please punish me!?". The person said falling on his knees ...
Person one: " let this be the last time. I need you to keep an eye on that girl and find whose helping her,now leave!... The person commanded,their voice causing the two people to flinch as they immediately ran out ....
°°Boarding house °°
The room was dimly lit, the air heavy with anticipation. The four girls - Keisha, Tori, Matilda and Zenid gathered around the small wooden table.
On its surface lay the ancient bracelet, its gold and blue strands etched with symbols that seemed to pulse with hidden power. With the shadow realm scroll ,they had been studying together.
Keisha's heart raced with curiosity.She had discovered the incantation . The magical words",that would unlock the secrets of the shadow realm,and what to expect in the realm . The scroll had hinted at its existence, but now, in this room, the truth awaited.
" Let's do this" . Matilda said . As the girls got closer holding hands.
Keisha's voice trembled as she began to chant ,with a little fear creeping in .The words flowed from her lips, resonating the ancient energy filled in their room.The room seemed to hold its breath, the walls absorbing her every syllable.
"Shadranth , Velith Death"..... Keisha chanted the magic words ...
As the bracelet began to glow, its gold and blue crystals ,weaving patterns in the air. As Shadows merged dancing along the walls, twisting and elongating. The room slowly blurring,as reality began to shift.
Zenid's eyes widened. As she saw glimpses of otherworldly landscapes-the 'Realm of Shadows',where darkness reigned with supremely. And Malevolent creatures that slithered through mist, with glowing eyes like dying stars.
This was exactly what it looked like in Matilda's vision ,which she later drew . The canvas rippled, revealing shadowed forests, twisted spires, and forgotten ruins of the shadow beings. Her astonished and cold expression turned to awe as she recognized her drawing çoming to life .
" This is happening" . Tori said whispering.

The room itself transformed. The walls bled shadows, as the ceiling stretched into infinity. The floor becoming a pool of inky blackness, reflecting the roommates' startled expressions.
As the shadows coalesced, looking like a materialized figure. As it stood at the center of the room ,half-hidden, half-revealed. Its eyes were voids, its form shifting between substance and smoke.
Tori stepped forward. As she had recognized the being ,the "Shadow Guardian" the only one left protecting the shadow realm. Its duty was to protect it's realm . But it had been dormant for centuries, waiting for the chosen one- the bracelet'soulmate.
"Keisha " Matilda whispered, "you've awakened the shadow guardian"..."Be cautious."...she warned.
The Shadow Guardian spoke, with it's voice like the rustling of leaves and distant echoes. "Bearer of the bracelet,"it intoned, "you seek knowledge and peace .What will you offer in return?"
Keisha hesitated. The guardian's gaze bore into her soul. She glimpsed at bronze box.
"My fears. And the Mystical Quill".. Keisha said almost trembling. This was now a bargain,she thought.
The roommates exchanged glances. Tori nodded, understanding the sacrifice .The cost of forbidden knowledge always demanded a huge price to pay .
The Shadow Guardian accepted as it's eyes bore into Keisha's soul. "Your soul is not tainted , I'll let the offer slide". it murmured." I'll grant you the revelation although the mystical Quill you have has to come to me".
This astonished the other roommates. The shadow guardian was greedy ,but right now,it only chose to have the Quill and not take Keisha's fears'strange' indeed.
" I'll give it back ,if you also reveal what I want to know". Keisha said sounding bold.
"Ofcourse ".... The shadow guardian said as the atmosphere started to change.
The roommates attentively watched, as the shadows deepened. Opening a portal to the shadow realm.
The girls looked astonished as the room started expanding . Without wasting time the girls bravely stepped through—their forms merging with the shadow realm. Matilda's vision sharpened,as Tori's senses became so attentive .
The girls stood on the threshold each with a role they have to fulfill . Keisha tightly clutched the bracelet, her mind working like a whirlwind.
The Shadow Guardian whispered " the shadow realm is a jungle , survival is important. The first shadow beings are lustful and full of vegence , I hope you find what you are looking for.. will meet you at the end of forest if you happen to last in the first realm." The shadow guardian said making the girls feel fear creep in....
The just sounded like a death trap. These shadow beings have been thirsty for centuries. Tori ,Zenid and Matilda knew the shadows were going to be fierce on them because of the magic in them .
It was the magic of almost everyone from their different realms , they had all sacrificed to put it all in them in order for them to find justice for them .
They had to be brave for their people, living without magic is not easy , people were dying daily as their life span was now reduced . Even the thousand years of cultivation couldn't help them right now.
" Guys remember ,we are the chosen ones for this,we can't afford to die ". Tori said, " let's do this".
Taking one last look at the shadow guardian,they stepped into the first shadow beings realm ,as their visions blurred ...
