Ch 76

Rodger pulls his ragged clothes to cover himself the best that he could. Then washes the filth off of himself trying to just gather his thoughts and deal with the reality of what was happening to him now. It was like his whole body hurt he knew that he had been used and used as roughly as they could. Every movement that he made was shear agony.

Rodger thought to himself that he was just going to have to willingly submit to them next time trying to fight back only gave him more bruises. It felt like he had a broken rib, and if it was not broken it had to be almost broken. At least that was the way it was feeling like it was. He sat there as the depression washed over him but there was nothing that he could do in here to make it better. He just kept thinking that he just needed to get through the next few days until the trial was over.

As he sat there, he thought about Stan and how much at this point he wanted to see him go to prison for the rest of his life. Wanting him to suffer even though that he knew that he would never suffer the way Rodger himself was now. Stan's money would see to that but just having him get the punishment for all his wrong doings would be enough.

Rodger knew that was not going to help with the pain that he had but getting out in a couple of days would at least make him feel better. Then he thought about Beth and the kids, and he thought that maybe it was asking to much of Beth. To go through what they did to him, but if she would have just been willing, they would not have beat her up.

Then he started thinking of the way that she refused and what he had told her after. He started thinking that maybe he shouldn't have done that because once he was out, he was still planning on going back to them. He knew that he had said it out of desperation, but it didn't work and now it was going to make things harder when he gets out.

He quickly started thinking about what he was going to say to her. He could tell by the way she looked at him that he was going to have to apologize to her and that is if she was going to let it go at that. Remembering the expression on her face he doubted that she was going to let it go with just that but once he got the money rolling in again, he knew that things would smooth out fast enough.

At least he knew how he was going to get the money, and it was not planning on going back to work. It was to get the girls and the stipend along with the sale of the house that was still just sitting there empty.

Rodger thought about the way that Katie was the last time that he saw her, and how she had attacked him. He was just hoping that she had gotten that out of her system, and he was sure that he could convince her to come back home to help out the family. He was sure that if she came then Gina would follow right along with her.

Everything was so dark as he was looking around. It was not like it was ever well lit here, but Rodger could not tell just what time it was when they had knocked him out, he had lost track of time. He was only a little hungry more like his stomach was upset but he was not sure what all happened, but he knew by the way his jaw felt that they had used his mouth and throat.

Rodger quivered with the thought and felt even more sick to his stomach thinking about what he could be having sitting down there. But no matter how badly he wanted to throw it up nothing ever came up. He began to wonder if they had made him sick while they were doing it. He liked that thought of him throwing up all over them even if he didn't see it the idea was at least a little retribution.

Rodger looked around the best he could but there was just nothing to see. He did his best to try and get comfortable and was just hoping that they were done with him for the night. He was not worrying about getting anything to eat as long as they just left him alone.

Stan was close enough to hear everything that was going on in Rodger's cell. He knew just what was going to happen and he had wished that he could have watched it all take place. Stan had heard Rodgers feeble attempt to defend himself that he was sure that it consisted of Rodger throwing a week punch and the guards laughing at his attempt.

Stan could tell by the sound that the guard laughed and then with one punch knocked him out. In a way he had been hoping that it was going to take more than that and he had been hoping that Rodger was going to be feeling everything that they were doing to him. As well as all the humiliation that went right along with it.

Once Rodger had passed out the room when silent except for a groan now and then. Stan knew what was happening in there even though you couldn't hear it. It all left him a little disappointed. Stan knew that it would not take that much to keep the guards bothering Rodger. He just didn't want to push it so hard to the point that he would get some of the blowback from their anger. As Stan laid there getting ready for sleep, he felt a little more at ease getting a little of the revenge that he had been seeking. Stan knew that this was just the first of things that were going to happen to Rodger.

He knew that there was still a day to get through but that would be nothing, but he was surprised that the other attorneys had not even checked in with him yet. But he relished that they probably were reviewing everything and still trying to avoid the prison all together.

Stan was figuring that he was going to be in here tomorrow and then one or at most two days for the trial and then he would never see this place again. He knew that Rodger was a fool and he would have been better off covering for him and deigning everything. He might have done a little time but would have had a job home family when he was released. He knew that he had already told them everything trying to weasel his way out of trouble like always.

Stan thought about Beth and got a smile knowing just how much of a shock that it must have been to Rodger. To have Beth refuse him and his request for her to service the guards. Then to have them wanting to collect everything from him instead.

Stan went to sleep with a smile on his face knowing that they were still doing things to Rodger since they had not come back from that end of the hall yet. Stan had wished that Rodger would have been woken back up, but he could tell by the fact there was no noises coming from his cell that he was probably still out.

Stan awoke and even though he was in the prison cell he was feeling good hearing Rodger groaning every time that he was trying to move. That made him feel content at least for now knowing that Rodger had been punished, and it was just the first of it.

Now Stan thought he just needed for them to keep an eye on Beth and make sure that she didn't have a change of heart. Making sure she didn't come back into the prison and help Rodger. Though he doubted that she would do that. Stan was content now just to wait and see what the attorneys had to say thinking that the trial was in just one day. He doubted that he would be held long once it got started.

Stan was just thinking that everything was just working out just the way that he was wanting it to go. He was already set to leave the courtroom and head out with the law on his side and go pick up his property. This time if Snow or Kathy stepped in, he would have them arrested. That was what he was hoping for. It would only be fare if Kathy spent some time locked up.

The more Stan thought about it the more he liked that idea. That would knock that bitch down a peg or two, and then maybe she would learn to keep her nose out of his affairs.

Stan got up to the sounds of Rodger moaning he sat there just waiting for one of his attorneys to come visit and tell him that everything was set once the judge was selected. Stan was feeling a lot better now it was like a weight had been lifted off of him now that Rodger has at least been beaten at least a little.

Stan turned his attention to the future and the things that he was needing to get done once they set him free. Then Stan started thinking about Beth and he smiled as he thought about the way that she was acting with Deen. He knew deep down that it had to be getting to Rodger there was no way that it couldn't, and he just couldn't wait to see Rodger's face when they were at the trial.

Stan heard Pete starting down the hall once again and when he heard his name mentioned he knew that Pete was on the war path once again and he was sure that he didn't want to be the one to deal with him. Stan was just hoping that he had not heard that it was him that was paying Beth not to come back.
