Coins holders (3)

[When Audrey became Sequence 2, she had a dream.

She appeared in a deserted plain, with dark stones at her feet and no weeds.

In the middle of the plain stood a black spire with a huge silver-white snake. The head was already erected, and the bright red eyes turned to her direction. Without Audrey needing to venture further inside this dream, Will had gone out to check the anomaly.

The snake appeared briefly surprised before recognizing the guidance of fate.

While Will was inwardly clicking his tongue, the noble lady regained her senses and respectfully bowed to the Sequence 1 Snake of Mercury, the most beloved angel under the throne of the lord.

The giant snake gazed down at her with a complicated expression before opening its mouth.

"I think I know why you are here."

Audrey patiently waited for Will to continue.

"Fate tells me that I should give this to you."

A gold coin appeared in her hand. She could feel the peculiar breath on that seemingly ordinary coin.

Seeing that the angel didn't intend to give her any more explanation, Audrey smiled and thanked Will.

"Thank you, Mr. Snake of Mercury."

Then, the dream was shattered and she woke up with an additional coin in her hand, its use unknown at the moment.

Zhou Mingrui swung a long sword at a nearby monster once again and earned more coins. That long sword was pulled out of the historical pores and previously belonged to Arianna.

"Drag it! Quickly!"

The Lord of Mysteries turned his head and saw armed people entering the building, with others behind them.

He headed there and casually entered the building. The corridor of the company was filled with rotting body odor and maggots. He frowned as he walked barefoot on the dirty floor. His clothes were also covered in the blood of monsters; he should find an occasion to change them when he has time.

Zhou Mingrui followed the sound of voices and exited the building until he found cages with people trapped in it.

"Hey! Are you kidding me? Fight harder! Who will give you coins if you look like this?"

Inside a cage, two people were fighting each other. Blood splashed, eyes were pulled out and a man with guts hanging out cried out like an animal.

[The constellation who likes the Colosseum is delighted.]

However, not all the cages contained fighting.

There was one cage with a naked woman and several men inside, while another cage contained a lone woman, like the men had already finished with her. Zhou Mingrui could hear pained moans and cries from all corners.

Outside the cages, some men holding their penises were laughing.

"Hey, how are you? Good? Come out quickly!"

"Next is my turn you bastard!"

[The constellation who likes excitement is delighted.]

Zhou Mingrui didn't bat an eye, already used to this scene, and didn't waste time.

Without hesitation, he swung the long sword in his hand and decapitated a man as if he was cutting butter.

Slash!

"Where did he come from?"

"Aaaaack! What is with this bastard?"

Slash!

"W-What are you doing? What is this?"

Slash! Slash! Slach!

"Someone, stop him!"

Slash! Slash! Slash!

Amidst chaos and the screams of panicked people, Zhou Mingrui nonchalantly killed all the wanderers in his sight, not letting anyone run away, before opening the cages of the frightened prisoners and leaving.

After annihilating another coin farm, the Lord of Mysteries continued to wander around and kill monsters on the way.

Creeea-

Suddenly, his spirituality was touched.

Creeeeeea-

Zhou Mingrui followed his spiritual intuition and headed toward the inaudible sound. It seemed as if it resonated with people's soul, directly attacking the mind of the nearby monsters.

The Lord of Mysteries raised his head and saw that it was the full moon.

He stopped, his gaze fixed on the now unfamiliar color, and silently stared at the silver moon as if he wanted to engrave this sight into his brain.

Then, he lowered his head and continued walking forward. He would have to find a place to sleep soon to avoid breaking the rules of the sub scenario.

Finally, he arrived at the source of the sound and found an unexpected scene.

"Miss Sharron?"

The ghost had materialized instead of being in her usual ethereal form.

She was kneeling on the ground and holding her head in pain, her mythical biological form occasionally showing.

She was losing control.

Zhou Mingrui had noticed that, in this world, the madness in Beyonder characteristics was reduced considerably, which was also why he could still have a little humanity despite being a pillar.

However, the madness was still there.

Sharron didn't seem to notice him and continued to hold her head in pain.

After a few seconds, Zhou Mingrui approached her and put his hand on the Sequence 3's shoulder, using Beyonder abilities to reduce the loss of control.

"Miss Sharron, do you hear me?"

The Sequence 3 attacked him, obviously not fully conscious.

He calmly dodged her and tried to reach out to her.

"It's me, Sherlock Moriarty. Do you remember me?"

However, it still didn't work and he had to avoid another attack.

"I am the friend of your teacher, Reinette Tinekerr."

He mentioned a name she should be very familiar with to attempt to wake her up.

Their surroundings seemed to come alive and every blade of glass rushed to Zhou Mingrui. Even his clothes attempted to strangle him, but the man remained calm.

After all, it was only a mere Sequence 3 throwing a fit while he was a pillar of the universe.

With a wave of his hand, her Beyonder ability was stolen and his clothes returned to normal.

After a while, Zhou Mingrui's Beyonder abilities seemed to have an affect and Sharron began to calm down.

Her sight blurring, she held her forehead in pain while gradually regaining her senses.

Zhou Mingrui squatted down in front of the woman who had once again fallen to the ground.

She saw him and barely managed to ask:

"W-Why…"

Why did she help him?

"Well…"

Zhou Mingrui stared into her eyes, taking in the rare sight of the usually cold wraith being so vulnerable, and slightly raised the corners of his lips.

"We are friends, aren't we?"

Even though it came out of his own mouth, these words now sounded unfamiliar to him. It felt strange to say this.

Sharron was surprised.

"Friends…"

She gazed at the empty eyes of the man in front of her, his fake smile, soft facial features and unfamiliar face. There was dirt as well as a bit of dried blood on his cheek.

Sherlock was barefoot and his clothes were covered in dust and blood, while a strong aura emanated from him. She knew that he was in a wrong state.

Sharron seemed to want to say something but restrained herself and looked at him in silence.

Zhou Mingrui got up and held out his hand to her to help her do the same.

The ghost became ethereal once again and the Lord of Mysteries pulled out a doll to let her possess it and stay on his shoulder.

The two traveled together once again, one slaying monsters and the owners of coins farms while the other was silently observing everything.

A man with green pupils and a poet's romantic temperament stabbed someone. Blood spurted from that person's neck and the light in his eyes died.

The poet turned to a young woman beside him. She was about 1.65 meters in height, had slightly curly brown hair and pale blue eyes.

The woman looked at the corpses in disgust and spoke to him.

"This should be the last guy. As Miss Justice said, there should be no more coins farms left in the area."

In the corner of their eyes, a man with a doll on his shoulder entered the poet's vision.

Miss Magician instinctively sensed something, subconsciously recognizing the god at the top of her pathway, and recalled Miss Justice's physical description of The Fool.

She hesitated then greeted him with great respect.

"Good morning, er... Mr. Zhou Mingrui."

Leonard realized the situation and also greeted him.

"Good morning, Mr. Zhou Mingrui."

Zhou Mingrui was surprised to see them but didn't show it. In fact, it made sense that other people from his world were also here since Sharron and Audrey were present.

He guessed that they should have met Miss Justice since they already knew his name.

"Good morning, Mr. Star, Miss Magician."

The Star reported what they had been up to while Miss Magician stared at her god, feeling a mix of joy, excitement, awe and fear.

She didn't think she could ever see her god standing in front of her. She could also finally see what he looked like under the cover of the gray fog. She wondered if it was his true appearance.

Meanwhile, Leonard didn't think as much as The Magician. While it felt surreal to have the lofty and mysterious being listen to his report directly next to him with an appearance resembling Gehrman's, he wondered if Klein had known The Fool's true appearance and was authorized to use it.

Fors also remarked the uncanny resemblance with Gehrman but consciously ignored it for her own mental state, before finally making up love stories about a devout believer and his lord in her mind.

However, she didn't want to have to write books here (nor be pursued and killed by Gehrman). Now that her editor wasn't there, she only wanted to laze around but the apocalypse and other Tarot Club members prevented her from doing so.

Zhou Mingrui took all of Mr. Star and Miss Magician's expressions in his sight and silently looked at them while listening to Leonard's reports.

These people who had nearly nothing to do with each other had gathered and came all the way here for their god.

At the beginning, the Tarot Club was only a small gathering convened by a god every Monday, but at some point, it became more than a gathering.
