Until I am satisfied [1/2]

It was something that anyone who played games or read manga knew. Experience brings strength. In any RPG, the number of enemies ones defeat directly contribute to how powerful one becomes.

And an intentional mechanic most old school games had was that Exp was finite. This meant that should you pull all your experience on the same characters; others would be neglected.

This trend shifted when they introduced random encounters, but the main thing remained the same. Liv wanted to protect me. In order to do that she had to be as strong or stronger.

As someone who always wished for the same strength, I couldn't allow her to leave me behind. This turned us into rivals. We would level as hard as we can all so we had the strength to protect the other.
