Prince Leonardo, feeling a tad uneasy due to Xyriel's serious demeanor, shifted his gaze away, lightly scratching his neck as he grappled with finding the right words to engage with Xyriel.

"It's been some time since we've had a proper conversation, Grand Duke. How have things been for you lately?" Prince Leonardo asked, his smile gentle and welcoming.

"I'm managing," Xyriel responded curtly, failing to reciprocate the inquiry, his tone distant and cold.

Although Prince Leonardo detected Xyriel's evident hostility, he remained determined not to let this opportunity slip away. He understood the uncertainty of having another chance to converse with Xyriel in the foreseeable future and was unwilling to pass up the present moment.

"I see, that is good to hear," Prince Leonardo nodded, acknowledging the positive update from Xyriel, then shifted his gaze around, seeking a topic to engage with.
