Elle gulped, "You didn't kill her?"

"Something worse than killing," he remarked.

She should feel guilty but somehow Estelle felt relived. It would be a lie to say that she was deeply holding a grudge against Caroline who had made her suffer multiple times, even trying to have others violate her until finally taking the chance to kill her. She thought slapping the girl will bring her some understanding of how it feels to be on the other end of violence but the girl instead done the worse thing possible.

She wondered how they could even share the same blood line.

A sigh stifle in Estelle's throat.

"But you didn't kill her," she said, somehow amazed.

"You want me to kill her?" A delight pass in Magnus's eyes. He seemed to be overly joyful to hear that she was disappointed he didn't kill her. "Should I go and kill her now?"
