-117- Irreconcilable Relationship

In the end, Komurasaki's incident was exposed.

Irori led Komurasaki to meet Karyusai Shouko, saying that she needed to learn her lesson. This left Komurasaki feeling downcast and dejected for quite a while.

Rozen didn't go to meet Karyusai Shouko. Instead, he continued with his usual routine of training.

Rozen reviewed, practiced, and honed his abilities like "Telekinesis," "Spirit Vision," "Rigid Body," "Magic Resistance," "Heaven's Eye," and "Magic Resilience" allowing them to be gradually refined. He had always followed this regimen, which led to these abilities becoming much more powerful than the average puppeteer's.

If the conditions allowed, Rozen even wanted to enhance his skill level in "Summoning Magic."

However, within the mansion, Rozen didn't feel comfortable revealing all his capabilities, so he only practiced his magical skills and not his "Summoning Magic" level.

"I was actually planning to train my 'Summoning Magic' level, but plans never keep up with changes."

However, while one thing remained stagnant, another thing progressed.

Even though Rozen couldn't enhance his "Summoning Magic" level, he did make a small breakthrough in his study of the "Crimson Wing Formation."

"While it's just a spark of inspiration, after five years of research, whether it will succeed or not depends on whether this inspiration is effective."

Rozen mumbled to himself and extended his hand to touch the back of his right hand, specifically the command seal there.

It was the command seal that gave him this inspiration.

So, when Rozen clenched his hand yesterday with the magic seal etched on it, he had already begun to formulate some thoughts.

"No time to waste, I suppose."

Rozen immediately immersed himself in his work.

If the others were to find out that Rozen was still engrossed in his research even in this situation, they would surely be furious.

It was clearly a race against time to conquer the "Setsugetsuka" series now, to seize the best opportunity to obtain those three world-class automatons. Yet Rozen continued to live his own life, seemingly indifferent, which was a waste of time.

But that was just how Rozen did things.

Although he wanted the "Setsugetsuka" series of automatons, he wasn't overly obsessed.

Possessing all the knowledge of "Summoning Magic" throughout history, as long as he didn't meet an early demise, he could eventually summon powerful familiars similar to the "Setsugetsuka" series.

Even eventually, familiars surpassing the "Setsugetsuka" series might be summoned and commanded by Rozen.

With such a foundation, Rozen wasn't overly fixated.

It was only natural. If not for Rozen not being able to summon familiars as advanced as those in the "Setsugetsuka" series, he wouldn't even bother.

Hence, while obtaining the "Setsugetsuka" series would be great, even if he didn't, Rozen might feel pity but wouldn't have any regrets.

The same old saying applied: "Just let things unfold naturally."

However, just because Rozen thought this way didn't mean others did.

...

"Is it night already?"

Coming out of his room, Rozen looked at the starlit sky and stifled a yawn, rubbing his eyes tiredly. He lowered his head to look down the corridor.

There, a neatly arranged table of food awaited.

"Is this food from Irori?"

Rozen took a moment to figure out the source of the food.

It was likely that Irori had brought him food and discovered him engrossed in his research. She must have left the food without disturbing him.

This wasn't the first time this had happened.

Whether it was the dinner he had enjoyed before resting here yesterday or the breakfast and lunch of today, as long as he was working, Irori wouldn't interrupt. She would quietly leave the food and depart.

Compared to her playful and cheerful younger sister, this older sister was undoubtedly more mature.

"She's just a bit too polite."

Rozen sighed and picked up the food from the ground.

However, Rozen didn't take the food back to his room. Instead, he went to the courtyard and sat down at a small stone table.

Soon, he picked up the miso soup and began sipping it, nonchalantly speaking out.

"You've been watching me all day. Aren't you tired?"

Rozen's clear voice echoed in the courtyard and reached the ears of the second person present.

"Hmph."

A cold snort came from behind a tree where Rozen stood.

On the tree, with her back facing the full moon, the beautiful automaton Yaya stood on a branch, looking down at Rozen from above.

Who else could it be other than Yaya?

"Yaya thought you hadn't even noticed my presence."

Yaya said sarcastically.

Rozen, with his back turned to the automaton girl, calmly spoke up.

"At first, I didn't notice, but only until I was practicing 'Heaven's Eye.'"

While practicing his magical skills, when he used "Heaven's Eye," Rozen naturally discovered that Yaya had been following him.

"I wonder why the 'Moon' automaton from the 'Setsugetsuka' series has been secretly monitoring me. What could be the reason?"

Rozen shrugged, giving a meaningful and mocking smile.

If Rozen had a close relationship with Komurasaki in the mansion, then without a doubt, the worst relationship he had was with Yaya.

This girl not only had a unilateral hostility toward humans but also, due to past conflicts, had left a poor impression of Rozen.

Rozen felt the same way. Because of Yaya's unreasonable enmity, he hadn't developed any positive feelings toward her.

In this way, how could their relationship be anything but strained?

Just like now, Yaya was speaking without reservation.

"Yaya just wants to warn you not to have any ideas on Yaya's sisters, whether it's me or my elder sister and younger sister."

Yaya's voice carried a ominous aura, almost like a killing intent.

"The three of us, belong to Shouko. We will never be used by anyone else. It's best for you to give up now, detestable man."

Yaya didn't hide her disgust and enmity.

In that case, Rozen had no need to be polite.

"Don't worry, I never even considered using you from the very beginning. Not only having ideas, but I won't even harbor the slightest intention toward you, detestable doll."

Rozen said with a cheerful smile.

Naturally, this worsened Yaya's mood considerably.

"Didn't you understand Yaya's words?" Yaya murmured, "Yaya is telling you not to have any ideas on my sisters, not just me. You're not allowed to target my elder sister or younger sister either."

"Is that so?" Rozen replied nonchalantly, "Well, I'm sorry, but if it's you, I might let it slide. However, when it comes to your elder sister and younger sister, I do find them rather cute."

His implication was clear.

"Are you planning to ignore Yaya's warning?"

Pressure began to emanate from Yaya.

"So, as I said, I have no intention of having any ideas towards you."

Magic power surged around Rozen as well.

The atmosphere suddenly grew extremely tense.

A battle was about to begin.
