After that, the massive chaos that occurred at the Onmyou Academy finally came to an end.
Just as Rozen caught up with Saotome Suzu and encountered Ashiya Douman, Hokuto, who had left the academy with Rozen, had difficulty showcasing speed due to its size constraints in the limited space of the academy. As a result, it was chased down separately by Raven's Wing and Chimera, leading to an intense battle.
This battle almost overturned the Onmyou Academy.
Considering the size of both Raven's Wing and Chimera, it was a wonder that the academy wasn't toppled, especially since they struggled to move in the confined space. Had it not been for the spacious underground training ground earlier, even their movement would have been an issue. When these two colossal entities clashed, it was nearly disastrous for the academy.
Due to Rozen's absence, Hokuto, serving as his shikigami, couldn't unleash its full potential. Consequently, it couldn't effectively deal with Chimera. Ultimately, with the assistance of Kogure Zenjirou and Kagami Reiji, Chimera was subdued.
As for Raven's Wing, it seemed disinterested in combat after encountering Hokuto. It engaged in a brief struggle with Hokuto and disappeared without a trace once Chimera was subdued. It was unclear where it went.
Later, the exorcism division's sizable force arrived at the Onmyou Academy. They sealed the academy with barriers after evacuating the students and instructors. They then proceeded to purify Chimera.
Finally, nearing dawn, the purification was completed.
The entire exorcism division mobilized, assembling four independent exorcists, including Kogure Zenjirou and Kagami Reiji, along with all available exorcists, forming a massive force to purify the phase 4 Chimera.
By the time Chimera was purified, it was almost dawn.
Only then did the spiritual disturbances that had sparked riots throughout Tokyo finally subside.
During this riot, apart from various phase 1 and phase 2 spiritual disturbances, there were a total of four phase 3 spiritual disturbances, all of them being Nue.
Among them, two Nue were purged shortly after their appearance by two other independent exorcists. The remaining two Nue, one escaped, and one infiltrated the Onmyou Academy, eventually growing to phase 4. The reason why the exorcism division arrived at the academy so late was due to the appearance of another phase 4 Chimera.
Fortunately, although these two phase 4 entities caused a significant number of phase 2 spiritual disturbances, they were eventually purified before evolving into phase 3. Otherwise, if they had evolved into true "Night Parade of One Hundred Demons," Tokyo would have suffered immense losses like it did during the "Jou-i Daihara" two years ago.
Even so, this incident still dealt a considerable blow to Tokyo, second only to the "Jou-i Daihara."
This incident was later classified as a man-made act of terror and was named the "Jou-i Saihara."
The news about this was reported the next day and became public knowledge.
At last, the turmoil from this incident was pacified.
Rozen did not participate in the exorcism work of the exorcism division.
Though there were many things he was concerned about, for Rozen at that time, the most important task was to find the whereabouts of the missing Natsume and Kyouko.
Thus, Rozen allowed Hokuto and Chimera to battle within the Onmyou Academy while he searched for the two girls.
In the end, he found Natsume and Kyouko peacefully sleeping in the academy's infirmary, which made Rozen somewhat bewildered.
"I'm out there risking my life, and you two are sleeping so comfortably here."
It truly made him feel a sense of unfairness.
Certainly, Rozen was aware that Natsume and Kyouko sleeping like this was probably orchestrated by Saotome Suzu.
In order to free Raven's Wing, Saotome Suzu hypnotized Natsume and Kyouko, then moved them to the infirmary, where she set up a strong barrier to protect them from miasma and external threats.
It's worth noting that the barrier itself was hidden using "Invisibility Jutsu," concealing Natsume and Kyouko, making it quite a challenge for Rozen to locate them.
Therefore, by the time Rozen found Natsume and Kyouko, the Exorcism Division had arrived at the Onmyou Academy to purify Chimera.
Given this, Rozen chose not to participate further. After summoning Hokuto back, he stayed by Natsume and Kyouko's side.
Until everything settled, Natsume and Kyouko still hadn't woken up.
This showed the considerable strength of Saotome Suzu's jujutsu.
Fortunately, it was just a hypnotic jutsu. If it were a curse, things would have been much more troublesome.
In this situation, Tokyo welcomed the dawn.
The spiritual disasters were collectively purified, and the people were unharmed. On the surface, it was a cause for celebration. However, only those within the field knew that this incident was far from perfect.
Rozen was well aware of this.
Perhaps because of this, before Natsume and Kyouko woke up, Rozen was called over.
Called to the director's office.
There were three people who called Rozen over.
"Sorry, Akikan, for making you come over at this time. Please forgive us," said Kurahashi Miyo, sitting behind her desk, addressing Rozen.
"Oh dear, you've been through a lot too, Akikan-kun," said Ohtomo Jin, who was unexpectedly present, casually greeting Rozen.
He seemed like he had finally gathered the courage to come out, but Rozen could sense the spiritual energy in disarray from Jin Ohtomo. It was quite unusual for this teacher, who had hidden himself so deeply in front of Rozen before, to have clearly undergone some significant battles in secret.
The third person was...
"Yo, I can finally greet you properly," said the independent exorcist with a divine sword in hand in a cheerful and frank voice, addressing Rozen.
"Mr. Kogure?"
Rozen raised an eyebrow slightly.
He hadn't expected that the "Omnipotent Sword" was also present.
Seemingly realizing Rozen's surprise, Zenjirou Kogure smiled at him.
"There are many things to handle in this incident. Especially here at the Onmyou Academy. Because I was once a student here, I was assigned to take charge. I'll be in your care."
This statement surprised Rozen again.
"You were once a student at the Onmyou Academy?"
This was something Rozen had never heard of.
But this led to an even more unexpected piece of information.
"Isn't it strange? There are many Onmyouji in the Onmyou Agency who graduated from the Onmyou Academy," Kogure Zenjirou pointed to Ohtomo Jin, carefree in his attitude. "That guy leaning on a cane over there was my classmate and a good friend."
If others heard this, they would surely be jaw-droppingly surprised, right?
"Mr. Ohtomo and the 'Twelve Divine Generals' were classmates?"
So that's why Ohtomo Jin concealed it so well.
"Weren't you told not to mention this!?"
Ohtomo Jin protested.
However, even if Ohtomo Jin protested, Rozen was already able to confirm it.
Confirm his true identity.
But that was somewhat irrelevant to the current situation.
More than Ohtomo Jin's identity, Rozen was more interested in the identities of the other three person.
"Since all of you are here, may I ask about the identity of three person?"
Rozen made this statement to the three people in front of him.
