Suzie's Play

"I beg of you, Cannon." The man implored in tears.

"What are you begging for? Do you know what you did?" Austin asked.

"I attempted to kill you and I would never do it again."

The man had already wet the floor and that was enough to make Austin angry.

"You just killed yourself. I am in a good mood so, I will make your death as swift as the wind."

"Thank you, Sir."

"Don't thank me. You have already annoyed me. I won't torture you. Just swift death. Sam, where is Suzie?"

Sam gave him a huge sword that was still in it's leather sheath.

Austin pulled the sword out and threw the sheath in the ground, savouring the fear in his captives eyes.

"Yes, this is what I will kill you with."

Austin slide the glimmering blade slowly across the man's face, careful not to injure him. The sword looked like it had been shone and cleaned a million times.

The handle was made of gold and no one dared to touch it. Her name was Suzie. Sometimes, Austin would talk to her and everyone would refer to her as Miss Suzie.

Austin asked, "Any last words?" The man nodded, probably accepting his fate. Austin slashed his face slightly and blood gushed out. The blood dripped unto Austin's finger and he licked it

"Tastes like strawberries and cherries but that isn't how sweet your death will be." Austin cut off his head, the man's blood spilling all over his face and shirt. Sam stood there as Austin threw Suzie up and caught her by the tip.

"Suzie, I say that was most enjoyable. What's that? You are tired? I know exactly how it feels. Sam will clean you up, won't you Sam?"

"Yes, I will." Sam rushed forward and took Suzie carefully. He took her sheath and began walking out. "Come along now, Miss Suzie."

Sam left the chamber and Austin snapped his fingers at Calum. "Take care of that thing. I am going to bed."

Austin left the chamber's and went to his own. The room was huge, antique covered the room as well as gold, jade and silver jewelry that had been scattered in his room.

The room was painted sky blue and had black lines around the wall corners. His bed was covered with red satin linens and his curtains were lace.

A big Plasma TV was opposite his bed and his drawers were near the windows. He ran water into the bath and began sending pictures of Alora from his phone to his TV. He hurried into the bath and when he finished, he draped himself with a purple robe.

Calum came in and dropped the wine and a glass on his coffee table and he left the room. Austin poured some wine into the glass, sat on the bed and gazed at pictures of The White Dancer.

"To you, my love." Austin whispered and sipped his wine. That night, he dreamt of the only person his mind could register. Alora Silver. "She will be mine " He mumbled in his sleep.
