The Family House

Alora was sitting in the car quietly, Calum was engulfed in driving and Austin was still on his phone. A while ago, Calum had given her handbag to her. It was expensive, yes. Since when did Austin start buying cheap things.

She decided yo turn on her phone and sent a quick message to her parents and Lezz. Austin shot her a glance and she turned the phone off.

"Play along and you might just live."

He uttered coldly as the car pulled to a stop. The family house was in Vomero and since that was the quietest area in Naples, the mansion was built there. The steel gates opened and Calum drove into the compound. Alora quickly opened the door, eager to see the house.

It was huge, no doubt. The roofs were flat, sporting a simple yet stunning design, the lawn was covered with flowers not grass and do were the flower beds and pots. There was a marble fountain just in front of the long fleet of stairs that led to the double deck wooden doors.

The designs were carved into the door and unsurprisingly, the carvings were in gold. What suprised her was that the designs were Japanese. Each corner was beautifully carved, and the designs were made with complete care. With the combination of sky blue and spotless white paint. The plants that crawled around the mansion was adding more beauty, making it seem like a palace from another planet.

Austin brought her her back to reality by wrapping his hand around her waist.

"You have a really slender waist." He whispered in a chilling tone. "We better go inside."

They climbed up the stairs and when they reached the top, Austin knocked on the door. Four long ones, two short ones and a light tap. He had adopted this knocking style and everyone knew that only they had used it.

The door opened and a tall, burly man stood in front of Austin. Austin unbuttoned his collar, reaviling a tattoo on his neck. The man scanned it and let him pass.

He realsed Alora, allowing her to 'ooh' and 'aah' at the slightest detail. On the other side of the door was a whole new matter entirely. The walls were light brown quartzite, the floors were made out of white and black granite and long, glossy white silk curtains. There was also a large plasma TV on a glossy white table.

The furnitures in that room were covered with stunning silhouettes, rich upholstery, and fine details. They ranged from different colors and had a very alluring appearance. On the other side of the room, were stairs that were linked to the side of a large oak door. The stairs went all the way to the topmost floors of the house. Painting, portraits and pictures hung on every walk and corner. Chandeliers dazzled lights and gave the room a fuzzy feeling.

She was so entranced by the features of the living room that she didn't notice four elegant women descend from the two staircases.
