Alora stifled a yawn as she turned over. Something was holding her tightly. She opened her eyes just to find Austin stared back at her. She turned white and was about to scream went he placed a hand over her mouth.
"Can you explain?" She mumbled angrily once he had taken his hand off her face.
"I came back and found you on the bed. One of the maids told me that you had fallen asleep in the bathroom." He lied.
"Oh." Her face was still inches apart from his.
Austin noticed how uncomfortable she was getting and pulled away from her. "You have to come to dinner."
She nodded like an obedient child and picked a purple dress to wear. She changed and followed Austin downstairs.
Suki eyes shifted from the huge grandfather clock to the spiral staircase. "She and Austin have been in there ever since."
"Leave them be." Taki clicked her tongue and then winced in pain. "Kat, you're hurting my hair."
Katana giggled. "Why didn't you tell me that First brother was here?"
"Becsuse she knew that you would tell Third brother Jiro, dummy." Hana replied, polishing her nails.
"What of therapy?" Kat suggested. "I want brother out of that switched thing."
"You are right." Taki said supportively.
"Last time, that gay jerk kept flirting with my boyfriend." Suki said. "Then, he left me saying he just realized that he was gay." She sulked. "Next thing I knew, he was dating the hottest guy in school."
"Homosexualists are so gross." Hana said.
"We don't have a right to say that." Kat retorted.
"Why? Are you a lesbian?" Hana snickered.
"Yeah, we haven't met your boyfriend yet." Suki began putting two and two together.
Just before they began a heated argument, Alora's voice filled the room.
"Ladies, did we miss something?" She gave a smooth smile and they forgot about their squabble.
"Our moms our cooking dinner. They are almost done and our other siblings have returned."
Suki grabbed Alora's arm and went through the giant oak door. A long table stretched from the corridor and stopped in front of a French door. It seemed as if the door led to the the backyard and the kitchen was linked to the corridor were young girls brought plates and flasks to the table.
She was totally ignored but she slipped away from Austin and went to the kitchen to bring a tray of pork tenderloins. When she dropped it on the table, she noticed that everyone were staring at someone. She fought through the crowd and heard the door softly close.
