The Girl in Purple

Alora woke up in her bed. She remembered falling asleep while watching an anime with Austin's step sisters. She rolled to the other side and saw Austin lying in his bed, all the way across the room.

He looked pale white. She walked over and sat on his bed. She touched his face; it was ice cold. She was about to go to her bed when he grabbed her hand.

"Cinnamon girl, were you worried about me?" He asked with his eyes closed.

"I... My name is Alora."

She was confused. What was happening? Without warning, he pulled her onto the bed.

"It's nickname." His eyes were still closed. "Were you worried about me?"

"Yes, I was. You looked pale."

Austin had already snuggled beside her and didn't release her. He began pressing her palm softly. It was relaxing. She sighed and managed to push her hair behind her ear.

"Are you calm?"

He wish he could do more than that. She nodded and he got up from the bed. He took a towel and entered the bathroom. Moments later, he came out with the towel wrapped around him.

He shook the water off his hair and she closed her eyes so she won't see anytime else. Austin threw on some clothes and kissed Alora goodbye. She called her parents, wanting to say hi.

"Mom, are you there?"

"Yes, my baby. Are you alright? A friend of Austin's called and said you had fainted."

"Dont worry Mom. I was a bit scared. It was a plane."

"A plane!" Lorna screeched. "Where are you?"

"I am in Naples, italy."

"OH MY GOSH."

"I know, isn't that so amazing?"

"Thank him for me. He is such a sweet heart."

"I will, Mom."

"Alright then."

'Parents.' Alora sighed. A quick shower later, Alora dashed downstairs and met Jin in the kitchen.

"Good morning, Fourth mother."

Alora said respecfully. She don't know what else to do call her. Jin just nodded and gave her a tray containing her breakfast. Vanilla flavored pancakes and strawberry syrup with Japanese tea. How did she know? She was on her fifth cake when she heard a chainsaw buzz and the doors swung open.

A cute girl ran to her, sat on her lap and hugged her tightly. The girl looked up and her ocean blue eyes seemed to pierce into her soul. She had soft and long black hair and wore a pink long sleeve shirt inside a purple dress. Her shoes were heels, but not the tall ones. The chainsaw buzzed again and the girl screeched.

"What's wrong, sweetheart?" Alora patted her head.

"Uncle Jiro." The girl spluttered, obviously breathless. "He wants to steal my feet."

"Why would he do that?"

"I don't know." The chainsaw buzzed louded and the girl sunk her face into Alora's bosom.

"Would you like some pancakes, dear?"

"Thank you, Auntie."
