Rich guy, Poor girl

"Can I have some help here?" She asked without sparing them as much as a glance.

"He is asleep, are you crazy?" She heard Li-Na say.

"I told you Father." Jiro snorted. "This animal should be in an aslyum."

"He would have killed you, daddy." Li-Na whimpered. "He is very aggressive when he is about to switch back. And you just had to kiss him. Have you know self respect?"

Alora turned around and walked up to Li-Na. She took off her heels to indicate that she was still short. "Shut that pipe hole you call a mouth. Mind the way you speak to me unless you want to take care of your older brother."

Li-Na looked at her mother, hoping that she would defend her but Jin didn't look at her. Everyone in the room, including the maids, were suprised at the way Alora had talked her down.

"You have to be careful." Hayima said when Alora returned to Austin's side

"When he slumps like that, anything can wake him up." Harry pointed out.

"Amd when he does, he gets really angry." Suki shook her head.

Just then, Li-Na's phone rang and Austin's eyes flew opened. Everyone gasped and Jae, who recently entered the room, carried Li-Na and her phone out of the living room. Alora pressed him close to her and said softly, "I am here. Don't worry. You are safe." As soon as she heard his silent snores and felt his heartbeat slow down, she smiled at trhe family before her.

"Members of the Cannon household, I have your son under control. You don't have to worry about him.

They all sighed and the maids and the rest of Austin's siblings dispersed while Gera sobbed quietly in Harry's arms.

"Our son has finally found someone who can deal with this." Hayima took Gera to a seat and Harry sat near Alora.

"You don't have too." She stroked Austin's hair.

"I wanted to ask, what are those marks on your neck?"

She had forgotten that her hair had revealed the marks on her neck. Color crept into her cheeks. "Promise you won't tell." He nodded and she sighed. "Earlier this evening, as I went to wake him,he forced himself on me."

Harry's eyes widened. "Did he...?"

"No master. I believe he didn't." Her voice became almost inaudible. "These are love bites." Harry was stunned but Alora just went on with her work. With his help, she pulled Austin unto a couch and laid him there. Dae appeared with blankets and Kat bought pillows. Alora covered him and kissed him on the forehead.

"Sweet dreams." Taki said to her brother and Hana led her father to the dining room.
