Monstrous Monday

"Alora, I need that report stat."

"Miss Silver, you have a French meeting to attend."

"Hey Lora, did you really go to Italy?"

"Alora, you have three make-over tests."

"Alora, it's your turn to take the freshmen on orientation rounds."

"Alora, clean the hall for a meeting ASAP."

"Alora!"

"Alora!"

"Alo..."

"Wow" Sylvia whistled as she entered the huge senior student lounge.

The lounge was mainly for senior students who had endless work to do and wanted to relax. It had countless desks, many book shelves, five cream colored couches and a dozen of armchairs. It actually looks more like a library than a place of peace.

The brown lace curtains covered the windows, allowing no light into the room. The walls were painted white and somehow provided light for the intensly dark room. Alora was lying on a couch and groaned in exhaustion. Sylvia pulled up the curtains and Alora placed a pillow on her face.

"Senior, I do think that you should get cleaned up." Sylvia said.

Alora sat up and rubbed her forehead. Her hair was scattered and she was in shambles. A bottle of blue ink had spilled on her white and brown school uniform while she was trying to add in to a refillable marker.

During an experiment in the school's chemistry lab, a student had spilled some chlorine into Alora's lab coat. Although, it didn't touch her skin, it sank through the coat and stained her uniform, adding to her sorry state. Her eyes were red and beside her, were tablets of painkillers. She looked like hell on earth. Ketchup and mayonnaise had also collaborated to create the colourful affair on Alora's uniform.

"You look terrible." She tossed a bag at Alora. "Someone sent me to give these to you."

"Who sent it?" She opened the bag and saw an exact replica of her school uniform. There was a blue envelope and she immediately knew who it was from. "Anything else?"

"Yes," She handed Alora a lunch bag. "I hope it isn't poisoned."

"No, I isn't. You can leave. I don't want any other senior seeing you here."

Sylvia left the lounge and Alora went to the ladies room with her new uniform. She took a shower, then, changed her clothes and unfolded the blue envelope.

'You can't take painkillers on an empty tummy. I'm outside. Clean up and meet me. If you don't, I'll come get you.'
