The French Tower

Lennox and Alora spent the whole day at the Louvre museum, checking the beautiful and stunning artworks while eating as much croissants and cinnamon rolls as their tummy would allow.

She stopped by the house to change into a gold dress since a child had spilled tea on her clothes when she was at a cafe.

"Those paintings were gorgeous." Len helped Alora exit a cab. "Just like you." She smiled at his complement. "But you know that there one more French monument that we haven't seen."

The Eiffel tower looked lovelier now that she could see it in real life. She stared at it and wished Austin was there. It was not too late for them to check it out so, without wasting any more time, they reached the top.

Alora could see the whole of Paris below her, the shining lights and cars moving around. She took out her phone and handed it to Len.

"Take a picture of me. And make it a good one."

"Okay. Three... two...one..."

Len moved backwards and held the phone and the perfect position. She leaned over the railing and as if on cue, a gentle breeze blew her hair, creating the flawless pose for her picture.

"Let me see it." She took the phone from him and looked at the picture. "It's wonderful."

She sent it to Austin with a message. 'How do I look?'

"I have to get home or else, my uncle would get worried." She explained to him.

"Of course. I'll come." He offered and they quickly came down from the tower.

"Thanks for today Len." She stood in front of him when they had gotten home.

"My pleasure." He leaned forward and kissed her.

She found herself unable to move until her phone buzzed in her pocket. She pulled away and rushed into the house, locking the door behind her.

She took out her phone and saw that Austin had messaged her. He sent a picture of him. He was standing in front of the glass house, his black hair in an adorable mess and his eyes sparkled with unconditional love and hostility.

He looked handsome. The type of man any girl could ever dream of. Her face flushed when he sent her a message.

'You look divine. I miss you a lot.'
