Azure Blue

FIVE DAYS BEFORE THE ELEVATOR LIFT...

Heather took Sean to her personal stylist and demanded a full makeover. "I want a pedicure and manicure done for him. Afterwards, dye his hair with Garnier black hair dye."

"Are you sure miss?" The stylist brought out a color pallette and pointed at a deep black color. "It is a permanent hair dye. Are you sure you want to use it?"

"Yes, I am very sure. I have no plans on changing the color again. Also, give him a neat Korean comma haircut."

Once the makeover session was over, she drove to a hospital.

"What are we doing here?"

"You are about to undergo surgery." She disclosed as they both sat in the reception room.

"Plastic surgery?" He asked, a bit shocked.

"No, corneal eye tattooing. I wish to permanently change your eye color." A nurse walked up to them.

"Welcome, Miss Heather." The nurse bowed. "Who are we performing the surgery on?"

"That would be me."

He followed the nurse into an exam room. After checking his eyes, they decided to proceed with the surgery.

"What color will it be?" The doctor asked him.

"Azure blue." He answered.

"Very well but I must warn you that the procedure involves injecting a specialized pigment into the cornea using a fine needle. Local anesthesia is will be used to numb the eye during the procedure."

"The pigment is injected into the superficial layers of the cornea to achieve the desired color change. Corneal tattooing is a delicate procedure that carries risks and potential complications."

"These can include infection, inflammation, corneal scarring, vision impairment, and even loss of vision in severe cases. Improperly performed corneal tattooing can lead to serious complications and permanent damage to the eye."

Sean just stared blankly at the doctor. "Why are you telling me this?"

"Despite all this. Do you want to proceed with the surgery?" He wore his mask and gloves.

"Yes, you can begin."
