Play Your Part

"Miss Aria?"

A blonde stopped in her tracks and turned to the man behind her. "What is it, Kamari?"

The black haired man pushed up his glasses and gave her a tablet. "You might want to see this."

Juniper took a quick look at what he showed her. "Come with me."

Demetri followed her and entered the room. "Shall I lock the door?"

"Please do." June sat down and patted her lap. "Sit here."

"I don't think I should." Demitri blushed.

June pulled a Glock from her drawer. "I didn't hear you well."

He closed the curtains and turned on the lights. Once he had obeyed her, she dropped the pistol on the table.

"It looks like Alora survived the fall." She hugged his waist.

"Yes but she is in a hospital. And I have news that they broke up." He said.

"Is her condition serious?" Se tightened her grip on his waist.

"Oww, you're hurting me." He complained.

"And you like it, don't you?" She smirked.

"Maybe." His face reddened. "Anyway, no one has suspected anything yet, have they?"

"Not really." She took of her gloves. "I have some business to attend to."

"Then, I'll be leaving." He stood up but she pulled him back.

"I don't remember giving you permission to leave." She pointed at the door. "You aren't leaving yet."

"Okay. What is our next course of action?"

"Austin is weakened now that she isn't part of his life. If we happen to get our hands on her, he will do anything we say. Afterwards, we can kill them both."

"How are we going to do that?"

"Don't worry. Just play your part." She patted his head. "Did you attend your funeral?"

"I did." He looked away, having a sad expression.

"Don't give me that look." She gave him a warm smile. "I'll be here for you." She kissed him softly. "We'll be going home soon."

"Okay." He's face flushed. "I'll go pack up."
