Chapter 37

"Excuse me, but did you not see me sitting here?" Aiyu growled, her voice dripping with annoyance.

Xi Feng rolled his eyes at her audacity.

"What's the deal with my blazer? Do you find it comfortable?" .

As curious as ever, she inquired about the book , what about that book is that some ancient treasure ?

Xi Feng looked at her with a hint of disdain. "That's none of your business," , smoothly putting on his blazer.

A hopeful expression crossed over Aiyu's face as she pleaded, "If it's a novel, can I please read it? I absolutely adore reading novels."

Ignoring her words totally , he reached into the back pocket of his pants and pulled out the D.D.D, handing it over to Aiyu. "Here, take this," he said. Aiyu examined it with wide-eyed curiosity. "Wow, is this a phone? I can't believe this world has phones! Thank goodness... Is this for me?"

"Yeah, it's similar to those phones in your world," .

Aiyu's face lit up with joy, but she couldn't figure out how to turn it on. He leaned in closer and gently touched the D.D.D that was still in Aiyu's hand. Aiyu couldn't help but wonder why he was so close, feeling a strange sense of familiarity .

Xi Feng quickly snapped her out of her thoughts, saying, "Turn it on by using the small touch at the bottom. Activate it with your thumbprint."

"Oh, okay!" Aiyu exclaimed, using her thumbprint to access the device. As she started exploring, she noticed that the screen looked nothing like she had expected. It was weird, just like this guy and the whole world they were in. She wondered if she could change the screen orientation.

"Can I change the screen to be vertical?" she asked.

"No, it's the only orientation," Lu Xi Feng replied. "But first, tap on that icon ."

( TL similar to the D.D.D.)

"Oh, this (tapped the icon )," she sighed, realizing that nothing would ever be normal here. She glanced at the screen, which seemed to resemble a call log.

"Are you trying to find your lost phone using this?" she asked, puzzled.

Xi Feng remained expressionless, urging her to speak less and connect to the first contact listed.

"Why? Whose contact is this?" Aiyu inquired.

But Xi Feng ignored her once again, growing irritated with her disobedient behavior. He snatched the D.D.D and connected to the first log himself.

Aiyu growled in frustration, "Why did you give it to me in the first place? You could have done it yourself!" she snapped.

"I thought I should give you a chance to choose your babysitter, but it seems like I should take care of it myself," he retorted.

"Babysitter? I don't need one!" Aiyu protested.
