Summon (2)

(Saber POV)

[Summon Undead : Lyra Emberheart]

As soon as I was done picking, I immediately tried summoning my undead out.

[Would you like for your Summons to retain their memories?]

"No."

[...Summoning successful!]

The moment this notification came, a humanoid creature began to form out of thin air. With a thud, the body was dropped on the ground. I looked at my summon for a couple of seconds until she began to rise up.

"Grrr..."

Unlike the last time he saw her, her crimson red hair were now pale pink. She stood up and opened her eyes. It was visibly glowing yellow, her body was covered in dirty rugs like back when I first saw her in the slave market, face pale probably from having no blood circulation inside her body, and a huge hole on her neck.

A part of her breast was clearly showing, so I decided to approach her and fix it. She looked at me emotionlessly then turned her attention to my hand.

"Are you sure she's harmless?" Otuko asked.

Turning my attention to her, I smirked. I tried putting my hand to play with Lyra's lips to reassure her, while my eyes never left her.

"She's my summon. There's no way she'll bi—"

Chomp!

"....."

She bit my hands. I tried to swiftly pull away, but her hands grabbed my wrist to prevent me. She continued biting... No, it was licking! She's licking my hand like a dog!

"Mmm~"

She continued making noises as she licked my fingers inside her mouth. I couldn't help but make strange noise.

"...Did you just moan?"

"I didn't!!"

Few second had passed and she finally let me removed my hands from her mouth.

However—

With her eyes gazing at mine, she stopped licking my fingers and placed my wet hand on her cheeks. I felt my whole world stop for a few seconds.

"...I'm not getting turned on by a corpse. I am absolutely not getting turned on by a corpse!"

Thankfully, Otuko finally decided to step in before I could fully break. She pulled me from behind as we both fell on the ground. Lyra remained quiet as she observed us.

As soon as I recovered from my stupor, I used my other hand and grabbed my crotch area. The feeling of my thing getting hard made me confirm my suspicion.

"...What are you doing!!?"

Without wasting another second, I aimed my index finger on my head and used lighting magic to electrocute my brain and remove my memories.

Moments later.

Saber was standing in front of Lyra with his head tilted. She remained expressionless as she observed his movements for a couple of seconds before slowly copying it.

He became slightly excited as clapped and hopped, while Lyra followed.

Sabwr showed her some ridiculous moves by posing like the protagonist he saw in a certain anime, and she followed along his movements flawlessly even when he tried flipping.

"She's just copying you..." (Otuko)

"I can see that."

Saber responded without looking at her. He spread out both his arms and waited for her reaction. However, this time, Lyra looked at him, tilted her head before stepping forward and hugging him.

"Look! Look! Isn't my undead cute?" He said to Otuko, his eyes shining brightly.

"Her neck had a hole and you call that cute!!? And also, did you forget what she did to you earlier?"

The moment this topic came up, Saber became confused. He turned his attention to Otuko and tilted his head, asking, "Eh? What are you talking about? What did she do to me earlier?"

The look on his face... He totally erased it in his memories earlier.

Otuko's lips slightly twitched, her eyebrows furrowing. She sighed in contempt and crossed her arms as she observed the two.

Saber returned his attention back to Lyra, only to see her on her knees while chewing a flower. Seeing this, he couldn't help but ask himself, "Wait, why do I feel happy seeing her act like a simpleton for some reason..."

...Is this Saber's feelings?

Saber closed his eyes and thought back about the novel and recalled some scenes he could remember. It was then, he finally understood his feelings.

"Ah... Now I remember. She used to act like a spoiled brat back then. Oftentimes, she would fire a spell and deliberately hit Saber with her magic, then deny it by saying "it was his fault for getting in the way" or some sort." Saber nodded his head before opening his eyes. He slowly approached Lyra and picked her up from behind.

She was unusually light contrary to his expectations, so he didn't have a hard time putting her on his shoulder. It was as if he was picking up a small child.

When she was alive, Lyra was small—a petite young lady that can make almost anyone mistook her for a thirteen year old. Even Saber admits that she was beautiful or cute indeed (not in a weird way), but her personality is what makes her a trash in his eyes.

If she was kinder, Saber would have never killed her off and bought her alive like Eulia. She would have been one of his greatest assets, after the the Nameless Squad.

"Hey, zombie!"

Lyra didn't respond when he called her by this. He thought for a bit before deciding to call out to her out using her name.

"Lyra!"

It was then, she turned her head to his direction.

Saber urged her to come to him with a gesture as she walked forward. He extended his left arm towards her direction and fired out his current strongest Fire spell.

"Inferno!"

A huge ball of fire came out of his palm as it made it's way towards Lyra.

However—

Before it could reach her, it was sudden distinguished.

"She can... She can still use magic!??"

As soon as he realized this, Saber became excited.

Lyra Emberheart.

When she was alive, she managed to achieve many astonishing feats. From creating new spells in every elemental magic to reaching almost the full mastery of Fire Magic.

[Full Abyss]

She managed to master this spell that was supposedly one of the most hardest spell to master. It was just ten level lower than the spell [Kiss of Flame: Amaterasu].

Amaterasu.

She was one of the fallen gods in this world.

The Goddess of Fire, that was her title.

The fire spell, [Kiss of Flame: Amaterasu], is one fo the spell that she had created. It was said that the spell burn people through their souls. It doesn't matter if they have fire resistant armour of any sort of artifact to protect them, the moment you are targeted by this, it's instant death.

As for [Full Abyss], the only thing that separates the two was that the flame had to hit the enemies first before it took effect.

The reason why she fell out of her title? Saber didn't know it as it was never mentioned in the novel.

To be able to [Full Abyss] at such a young age of 16, Lyra was undoubtedly a deserving of the title the Genius Archimage of History.

While Saber was deep in his thoughts, Otuko glanced at the smoke coming out on his left hand.

"Now that I've noticed it, why do you use magic on your left hand rather than in your dominant right?" She asked, prompting him to turn his attention to her.

"Oh, I don't really have a dominant hand," he raised both of his hands and conjured a small fire on both. "I can use two hands just fine because I'm ambidextral. As for the answer for your question, it's merely for a reassurance."

Otuko tilted her head as of to say "what does that mean?".

"I'll be able to use my left hand as a distraction, while using the other for a counterattack. It works both ways. If I'm fighting a swordsman, his main focus will be on my right. While fighting, I can use my left hand to catch him off guard."

With a short pause, he continued, "Similarly, if I used magic at first, the swordman's focus will be on my left hand. Considering that mages are often for long-range, he will try and target my left. I can use my right hand for a counterattack."

Otuko looked at him with a look of understanding and nodded.

With that said, Saber remembered something important.

"System, can you let my summon enter the Pet Space?"

[No.]

"Please?"

[No....]

"Pretty please~?"

It didn't took him a while to convince the system finally agree.

[....Fine]

"Thank you very much~!"

And with that, it was finally time for them to move on to the next floor.

Towards the Tenth Floor.
