Before they can even say a word, Klein swiftly moves his hands defeating them and becoming lifeless except for one.

"Hmm. Let's see here, how do I use this again?" Klein took out a ring as he then came closer to the remaining guy.

The ring then grows in size restraining the guy and not long later he talks to Klein telling him what he knows and what Klein wants to know.

"I see so that place is their base. and These guys are only low-ranking officers. Oh, so that's the reason they took too long. They are summoning that huh?"

Hearing the information of what they were planning he then asked for more specifics.

"Damn To think that was their plan. So, they will use those places as decoys huh? The only saving grace is that Chris' there but let's tell her that after destroying the Dark Shade."

Making up his mind Klein then left the place looking around There were hundreds of black clothing individuals.

And with them were monsters and heavy artilleries surrounding Klein in all directions.

"Oh, so these guys might be the ones maintaining the Dark Shade."

After looking at the number of enemies around him he understood what happened.

"Don't take it the wrong way guys. This is just work."

As he said that he released a black scythe out of his storage.

"Well then let's end this fast."

------Jungle Ruins, Venue for the Exam-------

Jayven had already finished scouting the area near him. With this area as his base, he started to prepare to hunt.

"Using this place as my starting point and with a few traps I can directly finish off a few of those monsters fast and possibly beat other contestants when used right."

As he made up his mind Jayven started hunting and since half an hour already had passed, he had wasted a lot of time and his score was at the bottom of the rankings.

"If I remember correctly there are signs of monsters here." Remembering his rounds of the place he followed the signs and paths where the monsters could be in.

Not long after he hunted a few monsters on the way. Increasing his points by 30 and raising his rank to the top 500.

The monsters were not like the ones near Blossom City the monsters in the area are a variety. There are Spike armadillos, Iron scale reptiles, Ogres, Sonic eagle and to name a few.

There are also those who are native to their place like the rhinoceros Boar he encountered before and gale wolves, as well as Steel horned Deer.

As Jayven Hunted more than two hours it didn't take long for him to raise his ranks to the top 300 examinees.

"Phew, hunting this guy is truly a pain in the ass. I guess that's it for my revenge huh?"

He felt refreshed as he stood on the top of the Rhinoceros Boar.

"Well then let's hunt the next-." As he was about to move, he heard a rustle from the bushes. And looking at them made Jayven Nostalgic.

'I really was planning to meet these guys later but to think I would meet them here. I guess revenge is something that will come faster than expected huh?'

Jayven thought the moment the group consisting of the mayor's son Grant arrived. Excluding their leader Grant every lackey who followed him was there.

And this made Jayven wonder, what did they to be able to reach this far. But thinking about their status he understood.

"I guess they are well prepared huh?" Jayven thought they had certain items that they were using in this test to pass.

"Oh, look at what we have here if it isn't our old friend Trash-ven."

"Your right. To think I will meet the mutts of Grant here how unexpected. By the way, where's your owner?"

"You really lost your marbles huh?"

"I don't know what drug made you lose your mind but a few beatings will do the trick"

As if things were working out the group continued to attack but not one was successful.

They kept on attacking and complaining as they weren't able to land a hit.

A' few months ago, I may have been weaker than them but that's it, it has been a long time since then and now I am stronger. But there is something I would like to try.'

Making up his mind Jayven stood still and this time he let himself receive their attacks. And with perfect timing, all of their attacks made contact with his body at the same time.

What resounded then was the sound of metal hitting each other. And this made the group attacking Jayven question themselves.

"Huh."

"Is his armor an advanced type of armor?"

"No, his armor is ordinary We have been given the same one after all."

Without giving them any more time Jayven attacks one of them and makes him go unconscious he then takes the watch and automatically he receives half of the points.

"Oh, I guess you guys worked hard huh? If one of them has this many points then I wonder how much the others will have."

"Wait, Jayven no."

"We're sorry okay, don't do this."

"We promise we won't do this again."

"Yeah, so please."

Jayven, stop for a moment to think. And feeling their hope, they all relaxed themselves. Only to have a hardened expression later.

"Nah getting more points is better."

They kept hurling insults at Jayven but he didn't care, as he beat them all up and took all their watches as they lay unconscious on the ground.

Later on, the points were tallied and Jayven jumped getting a sly closer to the top 100 spot.

"This is good, I need to hunt more if I want to get to the top ten and join the tournament format of the exam. In that way, I can finish Master Klein's task, and this time I'll accept what he will give me."
