Chapter 67: Indomitable Will

Jayven was given a lot of instructions and tips during his rehab training.  He was also told in detail why he needs to regulate his stats in a way that he can control because if he kept on increasing it he would lose progress instead of gaining one.

But this wasn't a problem for Jayven because he could just reduce his stats thanks to his third awakening. Upon hearing this they told him to balance his stats to the 50-point mark since that is what regular students of a hunter academy could have.

Understanding this Jayen complied but he also asked what would be the right time to increase his stats.

They said that if he could perform twice the given number of stats, he could increase it by then if he wanted until he got familiarized again.

But what made Jayven even more surprised was that he met with Doctor Jane who helped him before, and now she was the one examining him again after his third awakening which was kind of weird.

So, for the past week, the two didn't talk not because they don't like to talk to each other but because of how serious Jayven's problem was.

And after three weeks of rehab, Jayven was able to use mana again. A bit later than what they expected but even so it was a great success since he was able to perform a mana intent stage capability.

Right now, they were capable of exchanging a few words of banter as the dangerous stage was done.

I guess the last time I checked on you already had your second awakening and used the healing solution to your advantage huh?

"Sorry."

"Well, don't be we weren't able to do anything about the good thing is your body is healthy if not healing your roots will take years for you to heal."

"I see thank you."

"But do you know who has the Phenex? Although we lost it now, we might need it in the future."

"No, as we discussed earlier the Abyss Blade took care of our people at Decagon City so we weren't able to get any info on who has it and what it looks like at the moment."

"This sucks it's good that artifacts can change forms to suit their users but this is going to be hard for us."

"Not as long as we find signs of the user using curse energy then it would be a done deal for us.'

Indomitable Will is a skill that was said to be the second of the strongest among the seven heroes. As its name suggests it is a skill that gives the user the advantage of having great focus in battle.

During its activation, the user's stats will remain the same even as their status has been debuffed. As for its second awakening, it boosts the user's strength depending on the duration of the battle.

Now that it reached the third awakening also known as the guidance stage the user can gather accumulated points at battle as long as the enemy has the stronger will or the same will as the user.

And one will be able to increase their focus with every use of their will points helping in learning techniques and improving their training efficiency.

"That is amazing young master you awakened it a few months ago but you can handle it very well already. Much better than the record where they could only have at least 1 point every week".
