I giggled and smiled happily, the sea, I didn't want my ability to swim disappear even though the urge to eat a devil fruit still was a thought in my mind. I smiled happily and stepped out of the water. I shifted and grabbed a stick. I need a plan, maybe shanks aint that bad..but i don't want to go to Elegia..that dumb. I tend to make dumb decisions so I don't want to be persuaded to stay on that dumb island.. Even though the music is pretty. I shifted and got up and I heard a small patter of feet run towards me before stopping behind me. I tilt my head, oh it's the main character…..err…

I scratch my head, how come I don't remember him..that's weird. I look at him for a moment, childish baby fat on his face and a hopeful expression. I smiled slightly, and tilt my head.

"You were on Shanks ship! You're very lucky! Being apart of shanks crew and having him as a dad!" 

I bit my lip, would..the story change if..I stole that rubber devil fruit..and ate it. I shook my head and say softly

"Not that lucky..it's just normal I guess.."

"Normal?! How is being a pirate normal, it's like the coolest thing ever!"

"I don't really…pillage stuff..I kinda..just sit aside..and watch..they say i'm too young anyway"

I offer an awkward smile as he huffed

"Tell me about some cool adventures"

I bit my lip as he sat next to me on the sandy ground. I sigh and nudge his side with my knee. "Fine, but they aren't

 that interesting you'll probably fall asleep or something…"

"Nuh-uh! C'mon tell me a few stories"

"Fine, fine, calm down!"

I huff and turn to him feeling the water run from my feet.

"Well uh… we went to this one island..it was beautiful.. The animals are huge! And there were rivers everywhere with people living on these rafts selling merchandise!"

"That's….awesome! Amazing!"

I give him a look, unsure and he got up.

"You gotta convince shanks to atleast let me go on one of his adventures!"

'Maybe I will…'

I thought and sighed as he dragged me towards party's bar

I was pulled along and almost bumped into a few of Shank's crew. I hobbled around and yelped. As I bumped into…Luffy's back! Oh yeah that's his name! I looked up at Shanks through my thin hair..it wasn't styled like..original uta's. He just smiled warmly and patted my head..he has big hands..or maybe I'm just small..I mean I am a child. I shrug of his hand and stuck my tongue out..jeez..his hands are as rough as paper.. I huff and sat next to Luffy. My eyes on that box, the treasure chest that had 2 fruits inside..I bit my lip, reaching forward slightly but stopped and retracted my hand immediately. I looked down at the food that Makino set down in front of me and Luffy. I saw a quiet thank you and I jumped at the burst of the door..wait this didn't happen in the movie. I blinked, mountain bandits? I bit my lip and reached inside the chest and pulled out the purple devil fruit. I shoveled it into my dress awkwardly and crawled back behind the bar and towards the back. I shifted and hid inside a cupboard..so this would change my fate? I leaned for about to take a bite but there was a huge bump and commotion. I yelped and shove it into my mouth quickly.

I stayed silent for a moment. My hands shook, realization hit in an instant. I nearly screamed if I didn't cover my mouth. I look down at my hand and my vision shook wildly, I was shaking? Why? I reached up to my face and pulled…It didn't work? I pulled again harder and harder till my cheeks turned red and I gasped. And shoved myself out of the cupboard in an instant.

What did I do to myself?!
