Zephyra held a stone face as she stood over Yrsula, who had been returned to her own bed. With Azrianna as upset as she was, the swordswoman had no idea how to console her queen.

"You said that Tobias did this?" The queen asked with a voice that wavered in anger.

"Well...more like Yrsula did it to herself, but it was Tobias who pushed her to do so." Zephyra answered and stayed in a tight, erect position like a soldier who debriefed their captain.

Amyra, who was in the room with the two of them, spoke up in defense of the man she no longer knew. "Tobias wouldn't do that. He loved Azier - he wanted to save him before any of his other brothers did."

Zephyra immediately refuted the woman's claims and shook her head. "No. He betrayed him."

Oops. She wasn't supposed to say that, was she?

"What does that mean?" Amyra demanded as she crossed her arms and soured her face.
