Chapter 16

The Shadow became clearer , the footsteps can be heard much clearer ,the bloodlust and pressure I felt became much more intense, my legs gave out due to not being able to handle the pressure ,I had given up and accepted my faith since my screamed for help couldn't be heard ,I have accepted my faith that I was going to die .

My heart raced in my chest as i stood frozen in the dimly lit room. My eyes were fixed on the doorway, a sense of impending doom gripping me like a vise. I could feel my palms sweating and his breath growing shallow as an intense pressure seemed to engulf the space around me. Every instinct within me screamed to run, to escape the terror that had overtaken me, but my body seemed paralyzed, rooted to the spot.

My gaze remained fixed on the door, My mind racing with thoughts of what could be lurking beyond it. The shadowy figures danced at the periphery of my vision, casting eerie silhouettes that only added to the atmosphere of dread. I swallowed hard, my throat became dry, my fear feeding into a frenzy of panicked thoughts. Images of fanged creatures, blood red eyes, and deathly pale skin flashed before my mind's eye.

As the seconds ticked by like agonizing hours, my thoughts spiraled deeper into a maelstrom of terror. my heartbeats echoed in his ears, the rhythm erratic and wild. i could almost taste the metallic tang of fear, a taste that seemed to coat my tongue and fill my senses.

A soft, echoing sound reached my ears, growing louder with each passing moment. It was a sound that sent shivers down my spine, a sound that seemed to embody my worst nightmares. And then, suddenly, it was there ,a figure emerging from the shadows, stepping into the faint light that filtered through the room.

My breath caught in my throat as i beheld the sight before me. A petite figure, delicate and ethereal, dressed in a gothic attire that seemed to amplify the air of mystery and danger that surrounded her. The girl's eyes glinted with an otherworldly crimson hue, an intensity that seemed to pierce through my very soul. Those eyes held a depth of power that i could scarcely comprehend, a power that sent shudders down my spine.

Her appearance was that of a child, her features innocent and young, yet the aura she exuded was ancient and haunting. The contrast between her appearance and the weight of her presence was jarring, a paradox that only served to intensify Dante's fear. I could feel my knees growing more weak, my body trembling with a mixture of dread and fascination.

And then, as if in slow motion, the girl advanced, her steps deliberate and measured. Each footfall seemed to echo in my ears, the sound a macabre melody that set his nerves on edge. As she drew closer, i could feel a pressure building in the air, a pressure that seemed to constrict my chest and make it difficult to draw breath. The weight of her presence was suffocating, as if the very atmosphere had turned heavy and oppressive.

My vision blurred at the edges, my consciousness teetering on the precipice of panic. I could feel his pulse racing, the blood thundering in my veins as if my body struggled to cope with the overwhelming onslaught of fear. My thoughts were a jumbled mess, a cacophony of desperation and despair.

As the girl drew nearer, My gaze remained locked onto her eyes, those crimson orbs that seemed to hold me captive. I could sense a hunger in her gaze, a primal need that sent a fresh wave of terror coursing through his veins. It was as if she could see into the very depths of his soul, as if she could taste his fear and relish it.

With each step she took, My world seemed to shrink, the walls of the room closing in around him. I felt as though i was being consumed by her presence, My thoughts slipping away as a haze of terror clouded my mind. I was acutely aware of my own vulnerability, my mortality laid bare before this creature of darkness.

And then, just as i thought that i could bear it no longer, she stood before me, her gaze locked onto me with an intensity that threatened to unravel his sanity. Her lips curved into a small, almost imperceptible smile, a smile that sent a shiver down his spine. I felt as though i was caught in a predator's gaze, a prey that had been cornered and was now at the mercy of its captor.

For a moment that felt like an eternity, Me and the girl remained locked in their silent exchange. The room seemed to pulse with an energy that defied comprehension, an energy that seemed to emanate from the very core of the girl before me. And then, as quickly as it had begun, the pressure lifted, the weight of her presence receding like a retreating tide.

My legs finally gave way beneath me, my body collapsing to the floor in a heap. My breath came in ragged gasps, my chest heaving as I struggled to regain my composure. I could feel a cold sweat clinging to my skin, my senses still reeling from the encounter.

And as the echoes of my fear gradually faded, my gaze remained fixed on the girl that stood before me. She watched me with an inscrutable expression, her crimson eyes holding a mixture of curiosity and amusement. It was as if she had tasted mh fear and found it... entertaining.

As she walked towards me, her voice carried a deceptive cuteness that belied the intense bloodlust that radiated from her. Her words, spoken in that voice, struck a chord deep within me. "Are you the Master's son?" she inquired, her tone a paradox of innocence and danger.

Listening to her, I found myself entranced by the childlike quality that infused her voice. It was a voice that seemed to come from a place of naivety and purity, yet it held an alluring undercurrent of something older, something beyond the years she appeared to possess. There was a melodic cadence to her speech, drawing me in like a hypnotic melody. It was as if her words possessed a mystical power, gently coaxing and ensnaring my attention, tempting me to explore the depths of her enigmatic persona.
