Auralia is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor at her late father’s failing dojo. She’s one payment away from losing everything her father built, where her childhood memories live. 

So, when the chairman of Ezra Holdings wife, Maria Ezra, comes to Auralia with a proposal of being her son’s bodyguard, Auralia cannot help but agree to the proposal. In exchange for protecting her son, Alexander Ezra, for one year Auralia will not only get a six figure salary but she’ll also get the title deed to the dojo’s building, allowing her to save the dojo.

There is one problem however. Alexander can’t know that Auralia is his bodyguard. Thus Auralia has to marry the man, acting as his wife while secretly protecting him.

An arranged marriage is not something she wants and her husband-to-be makes matters worse when he hands her a contract with terms to which she has to follow in exchange for marrying him.

Will she be able to navigate the world of the rich as Alexander’s fake wife without the man discovering the real reason behind her marrying him? And can she keep any feelings from developing between the two?

The Bodyguard Wife

The drive to the dojo was a quick one, taking them twenty minutes to get there. Auralia planned to pick up some stuff from her office before they headed to Alexander's penthouse apartment.

As Alexander parked the car in front of the dojo, Auralia turned to him and said, "I'm just going to head inside quickly. Should take me a few minutes."

"Sure. I'll wait here then." Alexander mused.

Auralia nodded her head in understanding before she hopped out of the car. She walked over to the dojo, pulling out her keys from her purse to open the door.

Once she opened up the dojo, she headed inside the dim room, removing her shoes. Walking through the quiet dojo was strange.

Despite there rarely being many people coming around, some of her students were almost always here. Auralia had gotten used to her students hanging around the dojo for extra practice.
