Auralia is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor at her late father’s failing dojo. She’s one payment away from losing everything her father built, where her childhood memories live. 

So, when the chairman of Ezra Holdings wife, Maria Ezra, comes to Auralia with a proposal of being her son’s bodyguard, Auralia cannot help but agree to the proposal. In exchange for protecting her son, Alexander Ezra, for one year Auralia will not only get a six figure salary but she’ll also get the title deed to the dojo’s building, allowing her to save the dojo.

There is one problem however. Alexander can’t know that Auralia is his bodyguard. Thus Auralia has to marry the man, acting as his wife while secretly protecting him.

An arranged marriage is not something she wants and her husband-to-be makes matters worse when he hands her a contract with terms to which she has to follow in exchange for marrying him.

Will she be able to navigate the world of the rich as Alexander’s fake wife without the man discovering the real reason behind her marrying him? And can she keep any feelings from developing between the two?

The Bodyguard Wife

Auralia woke up to the smell of coffee and bacon. She lazily lifted herself out of bed, letting the duvet slide down her body as she glanced around the room.

She found a room service trolley with a bunch of covered trays by the coffee table and no Alexander. Her guess was he either went out or was in the bathroom.

The closed bathroom door and do not disturb sign told her it was the bathroom. After their first mishap, the two had made a decision to lock doors and use a do not disturb sign whenever they were occupying a room.

This way they wouldn't walk into each other getting changed or doing something else.

Letting out a yawn, Auralia picked up her phone to check the time seeing it was 7:15am. The wedding had clearly exhausted her seeing as she woke up late again.

At least she still had time to get ready before they needed to leave for the airport. It would be horrible if she'd make them late for the plane, even if it was the family private plane.
