Auralia is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor at her late father’s failing dojo. She’s one payment away from losing everything her father built, where her childhood memories live. 

So, when the chairman of Ezra Holdings wife, Maria Ezra, comes to Auralia with a proposal of being her son’s bodyguard, Auralia cannot help but agree to the proposal. In exchange for protecting her son, Alexander Ezra, for one year Auralia will not only get a six figure salary but she’ll also get the title deed to the dojo’s building, allowing her to save the dojo.

There is one problem however. Alexander can’t know that Auralia is his bodyguard. Thus Auralia has to marry the man, acting as his wife while secretly protecting him.

An arranged marriage is not something she wants and her husband-to-be makes matters worse when he hands her a contract with terms to which she has to follow in exchange for marrying him.

Will she be able to navigate the world of the rich as Alexander’s fake wife without the man discovering the real reason behind her marrying him? And can she keep any feelings from developing between the two?

The Bodyguard Wife

Once they were finished with dinner, Alexander had Auralia order them dessert while he slipped out of the room. He needed to use the bathroom and wanted to use this chance to have a look around the restaurant.

As he was making his way back from the bathroom a few doors away from the private room Auralia and he were using, Alexander heard footsteps and a voice speaking.

"I'm going to have to lay low for a while." The voice said. "That Ezra actor is hanging around the resort with his wife and I don't need him finding out about our deals."

Alexander paused for a second before he quickly slipped into one of the side hallways away from view. Seemed his sister was right about the manager being a shady bastard.

He gritted his teeth as he carefully slipped out his phone and started recording everything. He would send all this to Crystal once he was back at the resort.
