Olivia

"Jamie…so cool."

Those words escaped the red lips of a beautiful young woman who was gazing at a certain silver-haired Hybrid with a dazed expression on her face.

As for what she was referring to as 'cool', it was none other than the scene of him using the 'Galaxy Sword' to slice the four-armed giant, Hecragar in two pieces.

Her being able to see the scene in the first place, meant she was unaffected by the void veil Jamie had put up moments before he took that action, and it certainly wasn't the Hybrid's will.

This woman was seated atop a small stool with her elbows propped up on her lap and her cheeks resting in her palms.

The location was the penthouse of a tall 120-floor skyscraper, the tallest building in the entirety of the city of Clurg, and one that was surprisingly still standing after all the chaos.

A few other people were in the room with her, but she had tuned them out and had her 110% attention on Jamie who was flying towards the Vampire quintet.

Her lips were slightly parted and one could see a pair of fangs peeking out from within, somehow giving her a winsome charm.

She had extremely long black hair that would stretch down to her knees when she stood, and she had it tied up in a nice French braid.

For her clothes, she wore a long black flowing double-layered dress ankle length dress and a pair of black stiletto heels.

Her legs were not too long, so it could be estimated that she was above average height.

As stated earlier, her facial features all came together nicely with her fair skin, making her look extremely beautiful.

The feature of hers that attracted the most attention, however, was her heterochromatic pair of eyes.

Her left iris was a mesmerizing shade of red, similar to the colour of blood but not quite the same.

The right one was a clear blue colour, mirroring the same shade as that of the skies.

Both her pupils were a relatively normal obsidian black shade.

"Urghh!"

A sudden grunt of pain rang out from below, pulling the woman out of her starry-eyed daze and turning her attention back to the person who was underneath her feet.

By the time her gaze had reached the person, it had turned cold, the complete opposite of how it was mere seconds ago.

The person at her feet was a man, with regular brown hair and dressed in a torn, tieless black suit.

His skin was cold pale, his expression was dark and he seemed to be falling in and out of consciousness.

One could not blame him considering his current circumstances.

The average human had about 5 litres of blood in their body, and draining out from his neck in the form of a stream that flowed up to a red ball of crimson liquid floating in the air, was half of that amount.

If he wasn't a Sovereign Realm existence, he would have already gone into shock, or probably would have been in a far worse state, after all, his energy was draining out along with his blood.

Jamie was wondering why the Sovereign Realm existence he had sensed earlier did not do a thing, but it was not that he didn't want to, but that he could not as the poor man had been like this for the past few hours.

"You could at least try to keep up appearances in front of your subordinates, don't you think, Olivia?"

Another voice rang out from behind her, prompting the woman to turn her gaze behind her, locking eyes with another casually dressed man who walked out of one of the other rooms in the penthouse.

Her gaze moved over to the three people following right behind him, and then to the other three standing not too far from where she was sitting.

"It's no use at this stage. We all know how hopeless she becomes when a certain Hybrid enters the equation."

One of the three near her, an elf, spoke up, prompting the other two to nod repeatedly in affirmation.

The other man only sighed softly as he walked up to 'Olivia' and tossed the cube in his hand to her.

"Be careful, you know how perceptive Jamie is.

He also caught onto your presence earlier, too."

The man spoke as he stood beside her, completely ignoring the existence of the poor Sovereign on the floor whilst gazing at the bifurcated corpse of the dead giant.

But his words served to confirm the guess that Jamie had made when he first met the white-haired beast woman after saving the adventurers who detailed the city's situation to him.

The familiar aura he had sensed, belonged to the person he thought it had.

This woman who was called 'Olivia' and the 'Olivia' Jamie knew, were one and the same.

While the man beside her, was her elder brother, John.

He was quite tall, dressed in a simple pair of black jeans and a brown t-shirt. Like his sister, he had heterochromatic eyes, but unlike hers, the colour combination was a bit different.

While her left eye was a mesmerizing red, his was a darker amber colour. His right eye was also blue like hers though.

Anyway, the two siblings certainly had a hand in the events that led to Clurg's dungeon break. As for the reason; frankly, it was irrelevant.

They had come for something they believed was in the possession of the Sovereign existence on the floor, who had refused to give them that item.

From the current situation and the fact that the room around them was wrecked all over, one can summarise what happened next.

"Still, to think we would run into Jamie of all people here. What a coincidence."

The man rubbed his small stubble as he spoke, the energy of the law of fate swirling around him as he checked to see if anyone had 'arranged' this meeting between them.

He dispersed the energy after confirming everything was normal and then turned to his sister who had ignored the box he tossed to her and was now using a farsight spell to watch Jamie who was now tossing Hecragar's corpse into his subspace.

"Stop stalking your crush with your eyes and check that thing out."

John ruffled her hair as he spoke and even moved in front of her to block her line of sight to the blue-haired Hybrid.

That was a bit of a timed save if she had stared at Jamie a second more, the Hybrid would have been able to narrow down their exact location to this penthouse.

He had long sensed Olivia's gaze on him, after all.

"I already did. It's the 'key' we're after."

"You sure?"

"110%."
