Jamie stood in a seemingly endless expanse of white.
The blankness around him was eerily reminiscent of the sterile rooms reserved for psychiatric patients.
He expanded his spatial perception to its limit and quickly realized that this space wasn't as infinite as it appeared.
It was, in fact, rather small.
'About the size of an average planet's surface area, perhaps?'
Of course, Jamie's perception of small was also rather skewed.
But given the dense concentration of ambient energy within the space, its actual size was far less significant than he'd initially expected.
'This means breaking out of it would be much harder…'
Jamie sighed at the realization before focusing on the basketball-sized orb of power resting in his palm.
