Volume 2- Chapter 67: Riddle(2)

Aaron had lost track of how long he had been sitting on the ground. The scorpion-man stared at him, seemingly hesitant about giving his answer. In the depths of the cave, there was no sound except for the crackling of the fire and the occasional drip of water.

Aaron, with his eyes closed, suddenly snapped them open and raised his head to gaze at the cave's motifs. He squinted, as if he were looking at a painting that told the story of his own history.

In the motifs, he saw the scorpion-man engaged in constant battles against various foes, destroying things, and, at times, protecting them when needed. Aaron quickly realized that these motifs held the answer to the riddle and, simultaneously, a trap.

He got up and approached the cave wall to touch one of the motifs. As his hand made contact, he felt a sensation similar to touching iron, but he knew it wasn't iron. He brought his hand to his nose and sniffed, eventually discerning the answer to the riddle.
