BZZZZZTTTTTT!!!

BZZZZZTTTTTT!!!

BZZZZZTTTTTT!!!

The blizzard reached its peak outside the cave. Alex guarded the entrance with a large boulder and kept the fire going. The boulder had a hole above it to allow air in and smoke to escape.

"Man, this blizzard is intense. It's the biggest one I've ever seen. But I guess that's the norm in this cultivation world." Alex sat on a boulder, gazing out at the storm.

"Chang Li, man he is good i wish." He knocked his head, his memory for names in this world wasn't great. He fretted over Chang Li's well-being. "I hope Chang Li is okay."

He pondered, "Did all those viewers from the battle also get teleported here? I haven't seen any of them, which hopefully means Fengying isn't here she isn't strong enough to attack a group of people at once." Alex thought about this and said "Her one attack isn't strong enough to be able to let her survive in here." Alex looked over and saw the blizzard was still going on he was sitting on the boulder here.

His thoughts wandered as he listened to the blizzard's howls.

"Agh..." Suddenly, he heard a groan. The girl he had saved, Ran Yunxia, was stirring.

"You alright? Hmm, whatever your name is..." Alex scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed. he wasn't good with names, especially names in this world, they were really confusing he always forgot them every time he learned.

"It's you..." Ran Yunxia looked at Alex.

Surveying her surroundings, she realized they were in a cave.

"Where are we?" she asked.

"As I said, we're in a cave. And what's your name?" Alex inquired.

"I'm Ran Yunxia. Thank you for saving me. But do you know where we are?" Ran Yunxia queried.

"Jeez, I literally just told you we're in a cave. Did you miss that? Or was your mind too shaken up?" Alex raised an eyebrow. He was curious about what happened to her. "What happened to you? Why were you so injured?" Alex gave her a piece of meat that he was roasting. "Take this, you must be hungry, with that injuries you need a loot of meat to heal, this is quite bland but still delicious i will say."

"I... I was wandering around nearby when I sensed intense heat and terrifying auras clashing. Then a massive boulder broke off from the mountain and landed on me. I managed to dodge, but the aura knocked me out, and I guess that's when I got injured..." Ran Yunxia explained, looking down. Suddenly, something clicked in her mind. "WAIT!!! WHERE'S MY SWORD? WHERE—"

"Is it this?" Alex interrupted, pulling out the sword. He observed her fondness for the sword, puzzled.

"Why are you so attached to a sword that can't handle a little energy? You're treating it like a treasure," Alex questioned, his brow furrowing. He took out a water bottle to drink but was halted.

"I... This sword can only be activated by me. I possess a unique physique... I can channel minor cum—" She stopped abruptly.

"PFFFFF... What did you just say?" Alex choked on the water he was drinking.

"I can feel energy approaching. Get ready. It might be some sort of monster," she alerted, quickly standing up.

"Hey, don't dodge the question. What did you say?" Alex persisted, standing up too.

"What's coming? A monster? Some kind of humanoid animal? A cultivator?" Alex stood up and moved toward the cave entrance.

"N-No... Please... This is the presence of a terrifying aura," Ran Yunxia trembled.

BANG!!!

Alex pushed the boulder aside.

BZZZSSHHHTTTT!!!

The blizzard's snow burst into the cave, rushing in at high speed.

"Agh..." Ran Yunxia shielded her body, covering her shoulders and hair. The fierce winds immobilized her; she was astounded to see Alex standing unperturbed as if the wind wasn't affecting him.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!!!

A punch came hurtling towards him.

BANG!!!

Alex extended his hand and effortlessly blocked the attack.

"Agh..." Ran Yunxia was flung back.

"Who the heck are you?" Alex stared at the enormous, hairy hand he had stopped. He was met with a deafening roar.

"Roar!" Alex felt an immense roar reverberating through the air.

"A humanoid monster?" Alex deflected the hand with ease.

BANG!!!

The hand recoiled immediately.

Alex finally recognized his adversary—it was a humanoid monster with white fur and an enormous build, like a human that had transformed into an otherworldly creature. it had really full white fur that looked like snow and blended with the background snow.

"Yeti? Are those things real?" Alex furrowed his brows, remaining composed. The energy emitted by the monster didn't seem to pose a threat.

Ran Yunxia, however, was petrified, feeling as if a deity was casting down its gaze, seeking her destruction. with an extremely strong Aura.

"We need to flee!!!" She attempted to stand, but her legs felt weak.

"What? This thing? Don't worry, it's weak," Alex said, his eyes fixed on the yeti.

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!!!

The yeti unleashed another punch, stronger than before.

"[Mountain Shatter Punch (10 Mountains) Max],"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The yeti exploded into pieces.

Instantly Monster exploded in pieces.

Curiously, a peculiar treasure emerged from the monster—a compass or perhaps a key. it was really pretty with modern designs and a magnet designed needle was really pretty. Alex looked at this thing with awe as he decided to take this thing to see what it was.

"What's this? It looks strange." Alex picked up the compass, rotating it a few times.

BRRRRR!!!

The compass illuminated, revealing a map reminiscent of video games. Alex grinned, realizing what he had obtained. he turned the compass left and right

"Ran Yunxia, let's go. I've found a way out of this mountain and this place." Alex glanced back, but he noticed Ran Yunxia was drenched in sweat, she was actually trembling and looked at Alex like she was looking at some kind of Beast... her entire body drenched with sweat.

"Uhm, what's wrong with you?" Alex inquired.

"How... How did you manage that!!!" She stared at Alex in awe.
